Well, even after trying brands like L’Oreal and Garnier, I was not quite satisfied with the results. So, I thought of trying the Revlon Colorsilk hair color range, but due to the unavailability of the regular Revlon Colorsilk colors, I had to purchase this ‘3D Color Technology’ version in the shade 1WN Soft Black. Now, let me tell you all how it fared for me.

My Experience with Revlon Colorsilk 1WN Soft Black 3D Technology Hair Color:
Packaging:
Well, I love the fact that this hair color is in a bottle dispenser rather than the tube form as it becomes difficult to take the entire product out of the tube. The package contains one instruction manual, a pair of gloves, cream color developer, ammonia free colorant, conditioner and an instruction manual.
Texture:
The consistency of the ammonia free colorant is like a serum, and once mixed with the cream color developer, it becomes very easy to apply. It spreads easily on the hair too.
Color:
The color Soft Black gives a very natural look to the hair and makes the hair look natural and vibrant. This hair color did not give any itchy sensation after application, but it had a strong chemical smell to it. After application and shampooing my hair, I used the conditioner which was provided with this hair color. It helped to soften my hair to a certain extent.
After my hair dried completely, I could see that this hair color had completely colored my grey hair. It also gave a very natural look to my hair. Many hair colors give a very fake shine to the hair, but this hair color makes hair look very natural and radiant. It perfectly nourishes the hair and makes them look healthy.
What I didn’t like about this product is that the color started fading after 15 days, especially from the roots. But, it still does a better job than many other brands I have tried.

Despite the fact that it starts fading within 15 days, I will repurchase it. I love it as it gives a very natural and vibrant look to the hair and also covers grey effectively.
