There are some days when I just don’t feel like wearing makeup or I don’t have time to undergo a full on makeover and that’s when I find myself reaching for a tinted lip balm. I purchased two of the five shades available in the keep calm lip balm range; let’s see how this shade fared on me…

My Experience with Rimmel Rose Blush Keep Calm Lip Balm:
This lip balm reminds me of Elle 18 lipsticks I bought in India. It has the same clear cap with a little bit of product sticking up, visible through the cap. However, the packaging is much better and attractive than the former and comes in more vibrant colors and stronger fragrances.
Packaging: Product comes in a blue color tube with a clear cap on which ‘Keep calm lip balm’ is engraved in the same color as the shade of the lip balm. I like the packaging because not only is it colorful, but also sturdy.
Color: It does not have a very obvious color since it is a tinted lip balm but still imparts a subtle pink color to the lips which is enough for college or school going girls or anyone who wants to look effortlessly decked up.
Texture: The balm is very moisturizing and has a very smooth texture. It glides effortlessly on chapped or dry lips and gives instant hydration.
Shimmer and Shine: It gives a little sheen to the lips but not a glossy sheen. It has a moisturizer which gives a Vaseline type finish but doesn’t look unnatural.
Pigmentation: It didn’t cover my lip pigmentation but it does not claim to do either. Multiple swipes will add a very pretty pink color to your lips.
Fragrance: It has a very strong tutty fruity fragrance which is a bit too much for my liking. The fragrance reduces after sometime and doesn’t bother too much.
Efficiency: It is very hydrating and moisturizing and works well on dry lips. I can’t comment about the efficiency on very chapped lips but it is perfect for everyday use and to keep lips moist and supple.
Wear Time: It stayed on my lips for at least a good 2 hours after which one needs to reapply it. It is sufficed to say that the wear time is like any other lip balm in market.
Conclusion: This is a good on the go product and also can come in handy to all those who apply lip balm every few hours.

• Might not work on severely chapped lips.
• Fragrance is a bit too strong.
Would I Repurchase Rimmel Rose Blush Keep Calm Lip Balm?
No because it would last me a while but I recommend it to readers especially college going girls. It is not very expensive and works well on dry lips hence it is worth a try.
