How are you all? So, I am here reviewing another eyeshadow palette for you guys. This eyeshadow palette is a Sephora eyeshadow trio which comes by the name “Dusk till Dawn.” So, if you want to know how this product fared for me, keep reading!
A collection of eye shadow trios that effortlessly blend for the perfect look, day to night. These expertly coordinated color trios make creating multiple looks effortless and stunning. Infused with radiance-boosting minerals, sea coral, and green tea extract, the baked pigments sweep on weightless, natural-looking color—so you’ll be the picture of health. The ultra-light, micronized pigments blend beautifully to create a seamless finish. Each shadow is carefully blended and infused with spring mineral water, then shaped by hand and slowly cooked to achieve a unique, airy texture. The lightweight, breathable formula melts into skin for a natural splash of color that lasts. It is formulated without parabens, synthetic fragrances.
USD 20 (It comes for INR 1250 in Sephora stores across India).
My Experience with Sephora Dusk Till Dawn Moonshadow Trio Eyeshadow:
Packaging: This eyeshadow palette’s packaging has changed now. Since I bought it around a year ago, I have the old packaging. It comes in a round tub kind of packaging with a clear plastic lid. The packaging is sturdy. The eye shadow trio is such that as one color ends, the other begins. It does not have different compartments, rather the eyeshadows are somewhat placed together. It is a tiny packaging and in fact, very travel friendly. All in all, I have no issues with its packaging.
Shades: The eyeshadow trio “Dusk till Dawn” has warm as well as cool tones in it. The first shade is a warm-toned mauve. It has micro shimmer in it. I think this is one of my favorite mauve eyeshadows of all time. It looks absolutely gorgeous. The shade is such that you can do a number of looks with it by coordinating it with different eyeshadows.
The second shade is a champagne pink color. It has micro shimmer in it. This shade is perfect for highlighting. I apply it on my brow bone and also as a highlight on my inner corners of the lid. This shade looks absolutely pretty.
The third shade is a light mauve color which has cool undertones to it. This shade is my least favorite of the three. I’m personally not a fan of cool-toned eyeshadows and that is the only reason why I don’t like this shade as much as I like the other shades. This shade again has shimmer in it. I mostly use this shade as a whole lid color and then as an accent, I add the darkest mauve from this palette to my outer third of the eyelid.
Pigmentation and Longevity: The pigmentation of these eyeshadows is good. They are not insanely pigmented eyeshadows but they are definitely better in terms of pigmentation as compared to some of the other shadows. I usually need three good swipes of these shadows if I’m wearing them dry, but if I decide to slightly wet them, I can get away just fine with two swipes even. The pigmentation of these shadows, or in fact any eyeshadow in general also depends upon the pigmentation already present on your eyelids. So, the best way to go about any eye shadows is to first apply some concealer or foundation on your lids before going forward with eyeshadow.
The texture of these shadows is smooth and they are very easy to apply. I have never noticed any sort of fall out when using these eyeshadows and I can say it without a doubt that these are one of the most comfortable eyeshadows to wear. They are easy to blend on the lid and they stay in place. I usually apply a makeup setting spray on my face when I decide to wear eye shadow, so that increases the staying power of my eyeshadows. These eye shadows stay on me for around 5-6 hours without any smudging but I have oily lids so there is some smudging once this time limit is crossed.
