My Experience with Tree Hut Bare Hair Minimizing Body Butter:
This product comes a tub packaging – the kind which is common for body butters. It has a twist-open lid and closes securely. It has a texture of usual body butter, thick like a cold cream. It is white in color and it’s fragrance is not unique and I cannot pinpoint its genre.
It contains Gymnema Sylvestre which is a herb native to tropical forests and helps inhibit hair growth. It contains certified organic Shea Butter and is rich in vitamins A, E, and F to help collagen production and promote skin elasticity. Shea Butter softens, smooths, and helps strengthen skin. It contains cocoa butter which is rich in antioxidants that combat free radicals and protects skin from environmental stresses. It is paraben free, has no formaldehyde donors, and is cruelty free.
The fragrance of this product is not unique and is not a selling point. I use it right after I epilate my legs or after vigorous scrubbing. I massage a generous amount this lotion mixed with massage oil. I also use it in copious amounts after using a body scrub or after a scalding hot water shower. This makes my skin smoother, prevents hair stubble, and bruises. I cannot comment about the reduction in hair growth part, but it does prevent ingrown hair and bruises that appear due to hair removal. People who use razor to remove hair, mentioned that it prevents stubble that appears by the evening.
