Today, I am reviewing a gorgeous eye shadow from Ulta. It is a lovely shade and I am totally in love with it for the quantity, quality and the shade! This is the last review that I have on my list right now and past this, I have a couple of amazing DIYs lined up. I am quite excited to share them with you and maybe I get to finish writing one of those soon. So, save up everything in the kitchen and in your make –up kit, who knows we get to learn to make something new from a few old things?! 😉 Okay, coming to the review”

My Take on Ulta Eye Shadow in Sandstone:
I have not used many eye shadows, but whichever and whatever I have used, this one is the best so far!
First, I am in love with the color. Sorry, I can’t show you how it looks on the eyes as I do not have an eye swatch, but trust me this shade would go with everyone and anyone.
Shade in light
It is a lovely color that would flatter anybody’s eyes and it is an everyday wear color. The shade is a bit brown-beige kind of shade with a slight pinkish tone. It is quite pigmented. One light swipe and you are done! The picture below shows the color in shade and in light.
Packaging is surely sweet and the transparent lid helps in recognizing the color at one glance. It gives a nice sheen to eyes though I don’t feel the glitters are over the top or anything like that.
It also stays on for long, around 4-5 hours without any base, so I assume it would last longer if applied with a base or primer. I didn’t notice any smudging. Fading is also quite less. Only after 4 hours or so, I noticed slight fading, that too I have oily eyelids and I applied it without any primer.
Pros of Ulta Eye Shadow in Sandstone:
- Awesome quality.
- Lovely shade.
- Stays on for long.
- Doesn’t crease or smudge.
- Easy to remove from eyes.
- Flatters the eye make-up.
Cons of Ulta Eye Shadow in Sandstone:
- Nothing major really.
5/5 if I can give it a high five. Else 4.5/5 just because it is not easily available and maybe it is a little pricey.
