Today, I am going to review one of my favorite single eyeshadows that I am loving these days and using the most. It is the MaxFactor Max Effect Mono Eyeshadow in Magic Nights.
One fine day, while browsing through the makeup counters at a Lifestyle Store, my sister spotted these mono eyeshadows at the MaxFactor counter, and she having an eye for anything exclusive spotted this particular baby, which both of us loved and finally bought, one for each of us.
What Does MaxFactor Claim about these Mono Eyeshadows:

My Opinion about MaxFactor Max Effect Mono Eyeshadow 10 Magic Nights:
Magic nights is a gorgeous black color with beautiful midnight blue shimmer which is not at all chunky or glittery, in fact, once applied on lids, it gives that star-like shining lids effect which looks great for evenings. The texture of this eyeshadow is super smooth and silky and it blends very easily. The pigmentation is to-die for and even without a primer, it looks very rich and vibrant and with a primer, you never would want to take it off! It stays put for a good 6-7 hours and that is the maximum time I have worn it, without fading or creasing.
Summarizing the pros and cons:
Pros of MaxFactor Max Effect Mono Eyeshadow 10 Magic Nights:
- Great pigmentation.
- Super smooth and soft texture.
- Blends easily.
- Stays for long without fading or creasing.
- Unique color, I am yet to see such a color in eyeshadows.
- Easily available at Lifestyle stores.
Cons of MaxFactor Max Effect Mono Eyeshadow #10 – Magic Nights:
- Ingredients are not mentioned.
- Maybe expensive for some, but that is it!
Would I Repurchase:
I am much in love with the brown in this range, maybe that and a purple, oh, these are so good, I wanna buy them all.
Here is how it looks on me and this is without a primer 😉
