I was cleaning my bathroom cupboard and found a product which brought back painful memories. I had used it a few months ago and then completely forgot about it. So, I decided to write a review about Veet Face Hair Removal Kit Sensitive Skin before throwing it away. Want to know why I hate it so much? Read on!

This Veet product is targeted for facial hair removal, especially for sensitive skin. I have very sensitive skin, especially on my face. To top it all, I have loads of peachy fuss all over my face and I hate it. I am always looking for solutions to get rid of it. I had watched various videos about this product and bought it because it seemed quite promising.

My Experience with Veet Face Hair Removal Kit Sensitive Skin:

The product comes packaged in a cardboard box. There are two cream tubes and a spatula inside this box. One cream is for hair removal and the other one is for soothing the skin after hair removal. The packaging is fine. It’s been suggested to use the spatula to apply the hair removal cream all over; I did as suggested. The spatula is not very convenient to use. You can also use your fingers to apply the product. Once applied, you need to leave it on for around 10 minutes.

The cream smells like burnt plastic. I had to swallow the smell. After a minute of application, the skin started to sting and prick badly. But I thought it’s normal and took the pain to get rid of the peach fuzz. After 10 minutes, I tried to use the spatula to remove the product. I tried but it was not very easy. So, I used a towel to get rid of it quickly as it was burning like hell.

All the hair was gone for sure but my skin felt warm and looked red. I applied the second cream, which is supposed to soothe the skin as it contains aloe vera extracts. I applied this second cream and it was still pricking. I washed it away after a few minutes with water and did not use any soap, as suggested.

I did all this at night so that I could leave the skin makeup free for more than 9 hours. Final results: I had a terrible breakout the following day and it took more than a month to settle down. Don’t even ask about the scars! This product ruined my skin. The hair also started growing back within a day or two.

This is one of the worst products I have purchased till date. I would never ever repurchase this
or use any other depilatory cream on my face. Lesson learnt! This is my experience with the product and I am not sure how it would work on non-sensitive skin. Still, I would ask you all to stay away from such products.

Would I Recommend Veet Face Hair Removal Kit Sensitive Skin?
An eyebrow trimmer works much better in removing peachy fuzz, to be honest. I would never recommend this product or any similar cream for facial use. Stay away from such products, ladies.
