First of all thank you all from the core of my heart for such wonderful comments. The winter is still on for some parts of the nation whereas some are gearing up for the sultry summers and for me be it winter or summer exfoliating and moisturizing is a ritual that I cannot miss by choice, owing to dry skin. I have body scrub from Victoria’s Secret that I would be reviewing for all of you.
A seductive, warm fragrance. Fall into a Moonlight Dream, provocative with honeysuckle and an aquatic orchid kiss.
The ultimate sexy sensation: This dual-action sugar-based scrub exfoliates the skin while immersing it in your favourite flirty scent. Skin feels soft, smooth and touchable. The scented scrub polishes the skin while enveloping it in a vibrant blend of provocative honeysuckle and an aquatic orchid kiss.
TIPS & TRICKS: To use, lather on wet skin, focusing on rough spots, then rinse off for an all-over glow. For longer lasting fragrance, follow with Moonlight Dream Fragrance Mist or Moonlight Dream Hydrating Body Lotion.
$12 for 200 g/7 oz.
The outer tube is adorable with co-ordinated colours and all the different fragrance variant come in their own signature packaging, so if you have a couple of them you could easily tell them apart. The flip top cap is good and once you close it well there are no chances of any leakage.
My Experience with Victoria Secret Vs Fantasies Moonlight Dream Body Scrub:
The humble dose of a good body scrub and body butter are a must for me during the winters that somehow tames the flakiness. I can actually count the exact number of days I have missed applying any moisturiser to my skin due to lack of time because at the end of the day it got so dry and itchy that I had to rush in to apply something to soothe the irritation. I have been using scrubs for some time now and I can vouch for the effectiveness as they make absorption of moisturizer better. There are scrubs of varied textures and components in the market some are made of salt, nut shell finely grinded and sugar and for me the sugar scrubs work best. I have some of the oil based scrubs that leave the perfumed oils behind after scrubbing and I have a serious issue with that because I have my own pet-peeves so I end up using body wash after I am done with the scrub. On the contrary these Victoria’s Secret scrubs are specially formulated so that people can scrub and wash in one go. It is one of kind 2 in 1 scrub where you don’t need a body wash as this product melts in the skin on rubbing and creates lather. I have finished 2 tubes of these scrubs and this is the 3rd one going, I am in love with it. The smell is very mild and doesn’t last too long so you don’t need to bother about it altering the smell of your favourite perfume. This one has a very floral and mild fruity smell that invokes a feeling of freshness in morning and hot summer days. If you fall in love with scent you could make it last longer by pairing it up with EDT, mist, body wash or body lotion from the same range. I own the body butter from the same variant which I love too much.
