VLCC Alpine Mint and Tea Tree Gentle Refreshing Face Wash Review
By Anwesha Bhowmik
Hello,

I am reviewing Alpine Mint and Tea Tree Face Wash from VLCC. I have an oily skin which gives me acne, so I try everything which claims to reduce the excess oil or acne. I picked this product from a mall and was very excited to use it as they had launched this range that day only.
Price:

195 INR for 175 ml.
Skin Type:
Normal to oily skin.
Shelf Life:
36 months.
Key Ingredients:
Alpine mint, tea tree oil and algae extract.
Packaging:
This comes in a transparent tube with a flip open lid.
Product Description:
Oily, acne-prone skin requires effective and daily gentle cleansing. Enriched with alpine mint, this refreshing soap free face wash deep cleans the pores keeping them free from oil, grime and make up while reducing excess sebum (oil) production and bacteria that causes acne. Tea tree with its antiseptic and antibacterial properties, washes away germs and problem causing bacteria, leaving your face looking clean healthier and refreshed.
My Experience with VLCC Alpine Mint and Tea Tree Gentle Refreshing Face Wash:
This is a light green coloured gel face wash. A small amount is sufficient for washing the face. The smell is very refreshing. It makes my face fresh with a healthy glow. This face wash gives a soap-free feeling and does not lather much. I am using this face wash for 3-4 months and I must say it keeps my skin oil free and thus reduces acne to some extent. It gives a cooling effect which I like a lot. Overall, it is a refreshing experience and I enjoy using it. In directions for use, they have advised to use this face wash with pineapple and papaya gentle exfoliating scrub and orange and water lily peel-off mask.
Pros of VLCC Alpine Mint and Tea Tree Gentle Refreshing Face Wash:
- Controls oil.
- Refreshing smell which makes your mood fresh.
- A pea-size amount is enough for one-time wash.
- Cooling effect.
- Decent and travel-friendly packaging.
- Soap free (they claim and I felt too)
Cons of VLCC Alpine Mint and Tea Tree Gentle Refreshing Face Wash:
- It controls acne to some extent.
- Availability can be a problem (in Kolkata, it can be found in Spencer’s, South City Mall).
- Price is a little high for a face wash.
- Only key ingredients are mentioned.
Will I Repurchase VLCC Alpine Mint and Tea Tree Gentle Refreshing Face Wash?
Yes, I will, but I will also try other face washes, scrubs and packs from this range. I will also recommend this to reduce excess oil.
IMBB Rating:
4/5.
