Watsons Cantaloupe Scented Softening And Moisturising Cream Bath Review

Skin type: Medium fair, warm undertones

Hi everyone,

Today I am reviewing Watsons Cantaloupe Scented Softening And Moisturising Cream Bath. Keep reading for more details about the product.

Price and Quantity: PHP 269 or INR 400 approx. for 1000 ml
Shelf Life: 3 years

My Experience with Watsons Cantaloupe Scented Softening And Moisturising Cream Bath:

The packaging of the product is quite bulky. The cream bath comes in a squarely shaped see-through plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The pump dispenser does not come with any lock or anything. So, you cannot carry this bottle along once it is open.

The transparent bottle helps to keep a watch on the amount of the product left. The bottle has a label at its back bearing all necessary information about the product. Overall, the packaging is very simple and basic but can only be kept on the bathroom shelf and cannot be carried along while travelling.

The body wash is pearly peach-coloured liquid. It smells nice and fresh. It has a very mild and refreshing citrusy fragrance. The smell is not too overpowering and instantly revives the senses. But, the smell is not long lasting and fades away within 15-20 minutes. The consistency of this shower gel is slightly on the runnier side, which leads to product wastage. So, I pour roughly two-three pumps of this shower gel on my loofah to prevent wastage.

The shower gel lathers very well and creates a lot of foam. Two pumps are good enough for the entire body. It deeply cleanses the skin, removing all the dirt and grime. My body skin gets slightly oily at times and this cream bath nicely cleanses the whole body leaving my skin squeaky clean and fresh.

This is really easy to wash off and it does not leave any residue behind. My skin does not feel slippery after washing off this product. This cream bath is neither moisturising nor drying. It softens my skin but I couldn’t really find any moisturising properties.

Pros of Watsons Cantaloupe Scented Softening And Moisturising Cream Bath:

• Nice pump packaging

Cons of Watsons Cantaloupe Scented Softening And Moisturising Cream Bath:

  1. The most convincing line in this post was – “This is really easy to wash off and it does not leave any residue behind. My skin does not feel slippery after washing off this product”. I have been experimenting with many body wash options lately and the slippery feeling makes me switch to a random soap. This product seems to be apt now. The review was really helpful. Thanks and cheers
