My Experience with Wet n Wild Don’t Leaf Me! Color Icon Kohl Liner Pencil:

The kohl liner comes in a sharpenable, long and sleek wooden pencil packaging with a transparent sturdy plastic cap. I totally adore its hygienic, user-friendly and travel-friendly packaging. The shade “Don’t Leaf me!” is a khaki green creamy liner with metallic finish which will work on a variety of skin tones, preferably on lighter eyelids. I mean, it looks subtle and toned khaki green with shimmery finish on skin. I find it bit washed out on dark eyelids.

Nonetheless my friend sports this shade on every possible occasion on her dark skin tone, though she requires a primer or a base. The texture of this liner is also creamy and non-tugging. In fact, as it is a shimmery liner, I find it absolutely safe and soft for the waterline. I love how a gentle touch of this liner imparts a saturated color payoff.

I just need 2 swipes for full color pay off and a smooth finish while deeper skin tones might need multiple swipes to intensify the color. Moreover I love the perfect ratio of green color pay off and intensity of metallic sheen in this liner. It totally stands out on our eyes without looking cheap. I mean I have tried many shimmery and metallic liners before and this shade stands a chance to top the list.

The staying power of this liner is also amazing, like it stays put for good 6-7 hours without smudging, fading and/or transferring; a bit of touch-ups, meanwhile, would increase the staying power, ofcourse. I am also amazed to see that it does not look flaky or patchy on my eyelids, unlike few shimmery kohl liners; it stays comfortably on your eyelids with full color pay off and smooth finish.

I haven’t noticed any creasing so far nor I have ever experienced any feathering around the eye area. It simply provides a finish akin to any high-end liner. I mean, I am surprised how we can never figure out if we are wearing a dollar liner on our eyes. Wow! I would love to get it again, undoubtedly; look at the price, it is not even gambling or a risky investment! I would definitely recommend this shade to everyone preferably to fair, light and medium skin toned beauties.
