So, I got this amazing chance to raid my BFF’s makeup stash and believe me I didn’t let her go so easily! 😉 I mean, I admire her pocket-friendly yet good quality products, and finally I motivated her to share her beautiful budget-friendly products on IMBB. So starting with my very own favorite, Wet N Wild; who does not admire these dollar beauties! I bought every possible product from this brand last time on my visit to India. These 12-hour, long-wearing liners have rich, hyper-pigmented color, an oh-so-smooth, oh-so-creamy application, and are versatile enough to create any look you want. No wonder they’re so raved about by celebs and makeup artists. But don’t worry, just because we’re all Hollywood now doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about you. My Experience with Wet n Wild Like, Comment, Or Share Color Icon Kohl Liner Pencil:
The kohl liner comes in a sharpenable, long and sleek wooden pencil packaging with a transparent sturdy plastic cap. I totally adore its hygienic, user-friendly and travel-friendly packaging. The shade is called “Like, Comment, Or Share” and I was laughing out loud when I read the shade name. Honestly I was more interested in the name than actual product. 😛 Guess I am gifting it to every Facebook freak (including myself :P).
The color is so bright and summery. I have seen so many blue liners on IMBB that I am already motivated to sport it personally. Moreover it looks flattering on every skin tone; I was first surprised by this shade on her eyes and when I tried it myself I immediately bought it. But today I will talk about her experience as she has been using it for months. So let’s find out why she keeps coming back to this shade.
Talking about the formula, it is certainly creamier and less non-tugging than the previous kohl liners. I personally feel it glides like butter on my waterline as well as on my eyelids without feeling pokey. And, look at the color pay off! It imparts an intense and creamy blue pigmentation to my eyes in just two swipes. I usually apply a second stroke for an even finish. In fact my friend has a deeper skin tone and the color shows up equally bold and bright in just 2 swipes. Amazing, huh!
I see that it has a bit powdery-creamy texture which dries and gives a smudge-free and transfer- proof finish in few minutes. Considering I have oily eyelids, I do need a primer for sporting it on my eyelids. It does not smudge but it usually creases or fades after 5-6 hours hence, a primer ensures full bold coverage for the desired number of hours. In fact my friend wears it over a primer or a base because it looks more intense and stays on for longer that way.
Whatsoever, the 12-hour fade-proof claim is a bit exaggerated for our skin types, but no complaints because it still stays longer than any average creamy kohl liner you will get in the market. Plus you cannot beat the quality at this price range! I am certainly impressed to see that it easily stays without smudging, itching or irritating my waterline. I do need a touch up initially as any good kohl/liner fades from the outer corners of my eyes within an hour of application.
I have no concerns about intensifying the color with initial touch up as it stays on & on for good 4-5 hours on my watery eyes. My friend is blessed with dry eyes while she wears contact lenses at times and she has never noticed any itching or irritation. Even the liner stays longer on her waterline somehow. To sum it up, this product, shade and formula are unbeatable at the price, quality and finish. I am definitely getting it again and wholeheartedly recommend it to every Facebook…err… makeup junkie! 😛

• Needs touch-up on the waterline
Well no major complaints as such other than the fact that I prefer retractable pencils. But, considering the price and the quality of this liner, I can hardly say anything against it. Not to forget, the shade itself is so appealing that I can never get enough of it.
