This is an ideal formulation for sensitive skin, its effective, but mild and moisturising too. PH balanced, fragrance and allergen free. Dermatologically tested.
When we are really new to skin care as a teenager, we are told to cleanse once and moisturize well twice a day according to our skin type. Oily skin is advised to use astringent to combat the acne and bacteria; dry skin is recommended a moisturiser and so on, but one thing I love about this entire rigmarole is that I love the first step of cleansing. I have oily skin which is acne prone, but still I love creamy cleansers, which are a little water based and not the greasy types. I rely on cleansing milks for not only removing makeup, but also to remove dirt, dust and grime after a day of sun and sweat. Overall, I love soft, non-greasy, water-based cleansing milks.
When I went to the UK, I did not carry many cleansers, may be just regular scrubs and some face washes. So, I intended to buy some budget cleansers for removing make up since there was not much dust and pollution. I found this cleanser at Wilkinson’s in Manchester, which is a grocery store and this is the in-house brand which also has some very nice nose strips and face strips, some average makeup removers and the like. I really liked the texture of this and so I picked this one. Also, it costed me just around a pound and I thought I will use it up much before I come back to India/
I was really happy with such a cheap product being so true to its claims. The cleanser is not only mild and great for sensitive skin, but also feels very light and water based rather than a greasy one which thickens on being massaged. This one goes on light when you massage it in circular motions and is very soft on the skin too.
This is not a heavy cleanser for removing makeup. I think this would work for removing very light makeup like a compact powder and not for foundations or thicker build ups. I like this as a freshening cleanser, when I can even use this on a wet wipe on the go and it doesn’t leave any grease leftover on the face.
This cleanser feels light and so removing it with the tissue is not so tough. The skin really looks fresh and I can see no grease or oil or dryness either after using this. I think its a very good alternative to face wash and waterless cleansing and dry skin would like it as much as oily skin; what’s more I found this fragrance free!
For the price, I think I got more than what I paid for, a light, water-based cleanser I would like to repurchase as a backup.
