5 Homemade Pumpkin Face Packs

Pumpkin sounds a very unusual and odd choice to make face packs, but believe you me, pumpkins have proven to be immensely good for all skin types. It contains vitamins and nutrients that can give you beautiful, healthy, soft and bright skin. Pumpkin has exfoliating properties, it removes dead skin cells off the surface of your skin. Pumpkins also contain beta carotene, proteins, and antioxidants that protect against free radical damage. If you are high on anti-oxidant skin care routine, you should probably include pumpkins in your skin care regimen. Pumpkins contain carotenoids that provide anti-ageing benefits. Also, to specify the vitamins, pumpkins are a rich source of vitamin A, C, and E.  Here are 5 face packs that you can make out this wonder fruit.  To make these face packs, you really need good, pulpy pumpkins.  You can either boil the pumpkins or use pumpkin puree.

1.  Pumpkin and Yogurt Face Pack:

Take a few cubes of pumpkin, mash then well, and add in 2 tbsp of yogurt.  Mix well, add in 1 tbsp of honey if you want.  Mix well, apply on face, and rinse off after half an hour.  You would give your skin a good dose of vitamins and get soft and smooth skin.

2.  Pumpkin, lemon, and vitamin E Face Pack:

Mash a few cubes of pumpkin nicely, squeeze in two to three capsules of vitamin E, and squeeze in a bit of lemon into it.  Mix everything well and apply on the face, rinse off after 20 minutes.

4.  Pumpkin and Oatmeal Face Pack:

An excellent exfoliating face pack – pumpkin and oatmeal are mild yet effective exfoliators.  To make this face pack, mash a few pumpkin cubes, add in 1 tbsp of oatmeal powder, and 1 tbsp of honey into it.  Mix well, apply on the face, and rinse off after 30 minutes.  Regular use will give you clear and bright skin.
