You know how I have been a fan of these Powder mattes, well the earlier ones were very creamy, but with time I noticed that Chambor powder mattes had become so rubbery, there is no real layer but you feel like swiping it on and on to get some color.This one again is one such color, it feels rubbery and not as creamy as the earlier shades rose fresque etc. This shade too turned out like the Plum delight one.
The color though a pretty matte nude brown kind of shade, and in fact an amazing nude shade for warm skin tones. This color turned out little rubbery, as in when I swipe it, I do not get any real color. The lips look smaller and shrinked when I put this which was not the case with the creamy Chambor powder mattes. It is good to have a non-cakey matte lipstick but still, I do not like the feel of swiping it on and on to get some real color.
The matte finish is nice, so is the color. The color is a beige brown nude kind of shade, not very rose like.the quantity on the lipstick is nice too and and the slant shape of the buller, well not bad but swiping it again and again, pretty bad. I would say the pigmentation is low on this one, even though it is a nude shade, you should get some real color.
The lipstick does not need a base, I also notice this does not dry my lips out, it does not settle in fine lines, or look like a cakey matte. This is surely good for many.If you would like a soft brown nude, without any obvious lipstick look, try this one. Dry lips can try it but pigmented lips can skip this shade. Somehow I crave creamy lipsticks and this quality is missing in this lipstick.
It goes off patchy especially after a meal, hence I am not happy with the staying power and the way it fades. It does stay long enough no doubt, but not like many other mattes.I wish it was as creamy as the desert rose shade.

Which ones would u recommend then…chambor powder matte or lakme 9 to 5. I’m really confused.
