Chambor Shimmer Eye Liner in Metallic Mauve 304 Review

After my bitter experience with street wear metal eyes im back with a review for a fantastic eye liner, called metallic but not so metallic, something that even non metallic eye liner girls will love. I had bought this liner around six months back and had completely forgotten about this beauty but when ramya said she liked the swatch of the purple liner in the metal eyes review I realized I had ignored a beautiful shimmer liner(not at all shimmery though).I am talking about the chambor shimmer liner in metal mauve the most beautiful mauve liner I have ever seen in the liquid liner category and felt tip makes it even nicer. I was never a fan of felt tips and can work with any liquid liner but particularly like this one.

The packing also says that it can be used as a liner or smudged before it sets to be used as and eye shadow. After drying it sets to a smudge proof metallic finish.

The colour I liked was metallic mauve particularly because I do not have any liquid liner with a purple tinge to it. I was offered a beautiful grey and shimmer black but that are very much available at lakme intense liner range. This mauve is a gorgeous colour but just has sheen to it and a shine if you looks at angle closely at the eye, though it says shimmer liner it does not have shimmer at all or no chunky glitter as well. It’s plain and shiny and looks very subtle on the eye. It may look little invisible on dark skinned eyes and would be visible only closely. It does not show up brightly on my eyes as well but I love the combination of this with kohl eyes when I don’t want to load my eye lid and lower lash line with black I would use this on my upper lash line. It comes out thick and pigmented in one stroke and is not streaky at all. It may be lumpy at spots if you load the tip of the liner applicator too much.

As a shadow: It looks so beautiful as shadow too. It has to be smudged when its dry so that it can set before drying as a shadow. It comes out a beautiful almost matte shadow and awesome as a purple base for any other powder eye shadow. It is amazing how long it lasts (around four to five hours on my very oily lids). Even as a liner it would not budge if you splash your face with water once or twice without rubbing your eyes. (of course you don’t want to wear to a water park or something neither have a tried it)

I use it as regular liner
I use it on top of my black liner
I use it on top of purple eye pencils
I use it as a shadow
I also use it as a base for dark eye shadows
I use it even to intensify the dud eye sparkler purple pataka form ell18
I like it best on top of a purple eye pencil as it comes out intense and brighter

• Stays put for five(a least ) hours as shadow or liner
• Does not smudge
• Felt tip make application easy
• Great when combined with black liners, pencils or purple pencils
• No OTT glitter or shimmer but pretty sheen
• Not metallic but has a pretty shine to it
• I am in love with the colour
• It has not dried or become lumpy in six months or more

Cons of Chambor Shimmer Eye liner in Metallic Mauve

I cant think of any but may be…
Just that the quantity Is less for 400 rs
It may not appear or show up much some may feel
