My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Envy Creme Lip Crayon:
Let’s begin the review describing the packaging of the product. The lip crayon comes housed in a regular black colored cardboard packaging. This outer carton contains each and every detail about the product. The crayon has a color-coded body with a matte finish. The color-coded body makes it easy to spot this crayon in the makeup stash. This lip crayon does not require any sharpening and is quite easy to use. The crayon has a clear cap that needs to be shut tightly else it may come off in your purse. The crayon has a sticker at its base that indicates the shade name, shade number, shelf life, etc. Overall, the packaging is decent and travel friendly.
The shade “Envy” is a beautiful warm-toned orange-ish coral lip color and you gals already know that I am an all-time coral lipstick lover. I always keep my eagle eyes on the latest red and coral lip colors. This shade is my current favorite coral shade. This a beautiful color that will flatter fair skin tones nicely. These new crème lip crayons are totally shimmer free. Though, this particular shade is bright, it is not a bold shade that screams attention, but at the same time, it lifts up my skin tone very nicely. I really feel so obsessed with this shade.
Coming to the pigmentation, it’s great because it delivers a perfect opaque coverage in just one swipe. There is no taste or fragrance in this lip product.
As this is a creme crayon, the texture is definitely super soft, smooth and creamy. It’s super creamy and glides effortlessly on the lips without any dragging of the lips, but too much layering leads to creasing. The color tends to bleed upon layering. The formula is pretty moisturizing and hydrating. This lip color does not dry out my lips and makes my lips healthy. Being a creamy lip crayon, this one has the tendency to transfer a lot.
The staying power of this lip crayon is impressive. It survives meals amazingly. I had a full meal with this lip color on and I could still see the color on my lips. It lasted on my lips for some 5-6 hours easily with minimal fading. Though, it is pretty moisturizing in nature, my lips get a little dry after a full meal. Overall, the crayon delivers good quality and finish.
