My Experience with Forever 21 Cosmetic Brush Set & Case:

Packaging: Forever 21 Cosmetic Brush Set comes in a very cute baby pink case. It looks like a makeup pouch with a clear lid or zipped cover. Also the pink lips add some extra cuteness to it. Actually the bag is of good quality. I also use this as a makeup pouch sometimes. It is totally a travel friendly one and all the brushes are safely placed into the bag on a plastic tray type of thing. The plastic tray is not hard so after few months you might need to throw this away. Still the actual case is so perfect and hygienic. It has a silicon gel pouch in it. I can also store my others brushes in it. Clear lid makes easier to find the products. Such a pretty case it is!

Quality and Bristles: This brush set has 4 double ended brushes. So overall I got 8 brushes. It is very compact and great for travel. The selection of brushes is nice. It has 4 face brushes 2 eye brushes 1 lip and 1 eye brow bush. It does not look like the professional brush sets still it tries to cover up all the needed brushes during travelling. Brushes are pretty long, still I can’t call it has a ‘long’ holder. As it is a double ended brush so it’s quite problematic to hold the brush properly. I can’t hold at the end, when I need to use the brush with a light hand.

They are light weighted and work properly. All the cute pink brushes come with white bristles. They look so fresh and elegant. But honestly I am not a fan of white bristles. It always gets dirty very quickly. There are some more color options available at Forever 21 as well but I was attracted by the pink one. Anyway, the bristles are great in quality they are very soft and silky. They are easy to use and also very easy to clean. Overall I am happy with the quality considering its price. There is no name or number mentioned on the brush. So I gave them some number. Let’s go to the individual reviews of each brush.

1. (Blush and Contour Brush): In this long brush, the biggest side nicely works as a blush brush. Size of this brush is little small and acts as a power applicator. But it can evenly place the blush on my cheeks and it gives a very soft nice application. Another side of this brush works nicely as a contouring brush. It is nice angle brush that works pretty well for cream contour products as well as powder products.

2. (Foundation and Concealer Brush): In this brush, one side is a flat foundation brush. The shape of the brush is great to cover up whole face nicely. It just takes few min to blends out all products.

Another side of this brush is a medium flat blending brush. I can use this as a concealer brush. It is easy to apply concealer under my eye area with this. It can also be used as a highlighting brush, till I like fan brushes more for highlighting because it is bit heavy for highlight small area. But it works nicely to apply liquid highlighter.

3. (Eye Shadow and Eye Brow Brush): This brush contains a very nice eye shadow applicator. Size is very good to dab the eye shadow on the eye lid. And it works nice to apply the shadow on the lower lash line. Another side of this brush has an eyebrow brush. It works pretty well but I don’t like this kind of comb brushes.

4. (Angled Eye Liner Brush and Lip Brush): This cute tiny brush has one angled eye liner brush. Liner brush is very thin to draw the perfect winged line. It works very smoothly and gives a very sharp look. Another side works well as a regular lip brush. I have hardly used this one or two times. I don’t have time to line my lips with a brush but it works well.

Overall I love all the brushes; only I wish there was one powder and one eye shadow blending brush in this case, then, it would have been a perfect brush set. Otherwise it works nicely and it can be used in various ways. I think this is a nice option for beginners with an affordable price tag. And last word, I LOVE this cute lippy makeup bag!

• Wish it had one eye shadow blending brush and one powder brush.

I will definitely recommend this brush set to the beginners. These are inexpensive and they work well.
