Hello Beautiful Ladies,

Today I will be reviewing a lipstick from Inglot. Last month I brought few products from Inglot and I was eager to try all of them together, but of course as it was not possible, I had to wait for few days to try this one. The color that I will be reviewing today is shade no. 293 which is a deep mauve colored lipstick. This is my first Inglot lipstick, before this I have only tried their freedom system lipsticks which I absolutely loved and so I decided to try these.

Packaging: The lipstick comes in a square shaped all black packaging. The packaging is glossy and just has INGLOT written on it. A small label mentioning the number of the color and its weight is pasted in the bottom of the lipstick. Nothing else is mentioned on the lipstick. Unlike some other lipsticks this lipstick is not very easy to open, it does need some effort to slide off the lid. This makes it really safe to travel with, as there are completely no chances of the lid coming out on its own.

My take on Inglot Lipstick in Shade 293:

Shade number 293 is a deep mauve color which makes it a real bold color. The color is not very easy to carry if applied on its own, but once the color starts to fade, it looks more of a pink and is easy to carry. But for the girls like me who does like to flaunt dark lips on certain occasions this is a perfect color. The color is completely free of shimmers and has a glossy finish. I am not sure about other Inglot lipsticks, but shade 293 is amazingly pigmented, just 1 single swipe of the lipstick is enough to get the darkest color. It comes out to be exactly the same on lips as it seems in the tube. Multiple swipes of the product do not look bad or overdone, but they do not contribute much to the already deep color.

I have tried 5 of Inglot’s freedom system lipsticks and I loved them due to their formulation and creaminess. I assumed that these would be similar to those, but they are actually quite different from the freedom system lipsticks. This lipstick is not as creamy as the freedom system ones and thus is not as soft to apply, but the point in which this lipstick scores more than the freedom system colors is in the staying power. Although the color is transferable and leaves a mark on everything that touches the lips, but still it stays for a long time. The intensity of the color does reduce every time it is transferred to another surface, but even when the color is almost gone, a bright pink colored stain remains on the lips. Even after removing it with a remover, it still leaves a tint of color on the lips that take at least 10-15 hours to vanish.

The lipstick does not glide like butter but it still is moisturizing. When applied without a lip balm underneath, it keeps the lips hydrated for some time after which a balm or a gloss might be required, but when it is applied over a lip balm, the lips stay hydrated for a much longer time. A problem that I felt with this particular color is that, it accentuates the fine lines on the lips. Thus nearly perfect lips are required to make the lip color look good.

• Not as creamy as the freedom system lipsticks
• Might accentuate fine lines

Would I buy this product again?

Yes! I would buy other colors from this range, but I will not buy the same color again as this will take way too long to finish.

Do I recommend this?

If you are a fan of dark deep colors, then this is a good option.
