Loreal Professional TEC Liss Control Hair Serum Review

Loreal Professionnel TEC

Price : 525 for 50ml

After years of same long boring hair I decided to get a hair cut. And as soon as the salon lady laid her hands on my hair she started blabbering an endless list of how my hair could be better. She assessed, analyzed and finally said that the best product for my hair would be “Loreal Professionnel TEC Liss control hair serum”. I cant thank her enough though, its really one of the best things that ever happened to my hair ^_^.
I would not thank her for suggesting this product but introducing this product range to me.

Loreal Professionnel Tec

Loreal Professionnel TEC Liss Control +
Website says ” 24 hour anti- frizz protection whether you like your hair straight or with a twist. Hold factor – 1 control”

You have to apply a small quantity to washed and towel dried, spread evenly with a comb onto lengths and ends. Re-apply if necessary depending on length and thickness of hair. For smooth results, blow dry to control frizz, allow to dry naturally.

>..< I love love love this product, my hair shines shines like diamonds when I wear it. I don’t have that much frizz problem but when I wear this my hair looks well groomed.

Loreal Professionnel Tec

I tend to get carried away with this product, sometimes I feel like the more I apply the more my hair would shine but sadly the more you apply it I just tend to look oilier.

Loreal Professionnel Tec

Apart from making your hair look oilier ( ie if you apply too much) I cant think anything negative to speak about this product. Well maybe the price 525 Rs. When I bought this it was in offer period so I got this for 450 Rs. anything above 300 Rs. is expensive for me :( :( :( . Though this product is expensive I am estimating the bottle of 50 ml will come around for more than a year for me as I have only shoulder length hair.

It has a pumping package, one pump is enough for me. If you twist the cap the cap locks itself, so its quite travel safe. Once I applied on wet hair and my hair did not dry at all. And all that time with wet hair gave me a head ache. It has a very mild mild smell. I love it for that cause I have a sniffer dog nose. Strong fragrances induce head ache :( .

Loreal Professionnel has
1. Fix

a) Fix move – A light hold natural gel
b) Fix Anti -Frizz – Anti-Humidity Fixing Spray
c) Fix Design – Directional Fixing Spray

2.Volume
a) Pli – Heat activated setting spray
b) Volume Lift – Root Lift Spray Mousse
c) Full volume Extra – Volumising Protective Mousse

3. Liss
a) Liss control + – Intense control Smoothing serum
b) Smoothing Control Gel Cream

4. Gloss
a) Gloss Control – Shine and Hold Plump spray [ ^_^ I am gonna buy this one ]
b) Gloss Wax – Natural Shine sculpting wax

5. Curl Memory
a) Curl Memory up spray – to boost your curls
b) Curl Memory down cream – to tame your curls

Will I buy this again ? NO.. I do not have a frizz problem what I really liked was the shine and gloss. If anit-frizz serum itself is providing me this much shine I am wondering how it would be to actually use their gloss range products. My hair would go BlinG BlinG. O_O

How would this be different from Livon or any other silicone based serum?

I had used Liss Extreme serum for many 2 years when I straightened my hair…..I use to like it but it was too expensive….BioMatrix worked same for me like it…and was cheaper alternative :))
This is similar….packaging has changed though!

Your hair is so glossy and pretty! I love Loreal’s products. I have been using liss control gel cream and it has worked wonders for my curls especially in the humid seasons when my hair would frizz a lot. You are right, the price is expensive but the good thing is, the product lasts really long :)

Nice review! :waytogo:

thanks for the nice comments nisha… I went little overboard with the serum that day.. It was very shiny without looking oily .. i thought just a little bit more wouldn’t hurt and i thought it would become sooopperrr shinyyyyy O_O Big Mistake.. then it became shiny and oily.. now a days i am careful with how much i apply..

May be I need to try this as my hair gets frizzy…
I’ve tried Liss Ultime Shine Perfecting Serum from loreal and it didnt really help..

I’ve tried serums from Kerastase and Redken and they’ve made a difference …but then they are quite exp :( and don’t last that long cos my hair is long :( & Redken isnt available :(

Thanks for the review SuGe. :victory: I’ve been using Matrix Biolage serum since 2 years and it controlled my frizziness to quite an extent. This product is expensive but after your review I’ll definitely try it once. The good part is that it’ll last a good time.
