MAC Contrast Eyeshadow
Price : Rs 680 in refill, Rs 900 in pot.
MAC describes Contrast as purplish blue with blue pearl (velvet).
Contrast is a deep blue with purple grey undertones and a very pretty turquoise shimmer. it is a velvet finish eyeshadow.
It is a very pretty color to create smokey eyes, or use it as an eyeliner , an all over lid color or crease color. The shimmers give that metallic finish to the shadow. The staying power is awesome. It does fade through out the day, blends seamlessly and barely have any fall outs.
The pigmentation I would say is medium to buildable. To get a super intense color on the lids, I have to layer up the color atleast twice. But honestly, it is not one of the badly pigmented eyeshadows. You just have to build up the color and it applies and blends beautifully.
It is the kind of color that would work across most skin tones. If you are scared of doing full on black smokey eye, give contrast a try. it is intense and soft at the same time.

This is the look I have created using contrast all over the lid and Copperplate above crease to blend out the color. I kept rest of my face quite pale and muted today. Hope you like the look.
