I recently got a few products from Rimmel London, and am happy with all of them. Today I am going to share my experience about Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in the shade Sparkling Black. I have never tried a sparkling shade like this before. Let’s get into the review!

My Experience with Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Liner Sparkling Black:
The pencil packaging comes in a sparkling black color with a clear cap. I like this color-coded pencil and it is totally travel-friendly. But it’s just a normal kohl pencil liner which needs to be sharpened and it doesn’t come with any sharpener. The quality is nice and sturdy and it doesn’t require frequent sharpening. Also, there is no wastage due to sharpening and the product is decently priced.
I own two shades from this range. This shade is one of the most unique shades I have ever tried. It is a gorgeous sparkling black shade which looks so different on the eyes. This is not a jet black color; it is more of a metallic dark grey color. This shade has a lot of silver glitters, and that’s how this shade looks so shiny. I find this shade amazing for parties. The shimmers look heavy on the eyes so in case you’re not into shimmers, don’t opt for this eyeliner. I personally love this illuminating shade. It is super pigmented and only two swipes are required.
It has a very smooth and soft texture which glides easily on the eyes and also on the waterline. There is no tugging during application. Glitters never create any problem during application. Overall it is so easy to create a dramatic eye look with this pencil. It has a nice sheen but a velvety texture. I can create from thin to a thick line with this liner. It feels very light on the eyes and layering does not make the application patchy. It feels soft and glides evenly on the eyes. It settles down quickly in a nice matte texture and it does not transfer at all. The formula is totally smudge-proof and waterproof. I am so happy with the quality. These shimmers do not move from their place and stay perfectly intact on the eyes. My eye makeup does not look messy even after a long day.
The color survives a long time on my eyes – it stays perfectly more than 9-10 hours. Even after a long day, my eyes look beautiful. The liner never looks smudged, also it never creases or transfers from the lids. After 10 long hours, the liner looks slightly messy from the corners but my lid and lash line look nice. Most important – it stays on for long on my waterline also. It has never irritated my eyes. The only problem is removal of this eyeliner. Glitters require extra efforts to get removed properly. Overall, this is the shade I had been looking for since long. It is a long wear, smudge proof and waterproof liner, which has lived upto my expectations. It looks so beautiful on my eyes and I even get a lot of compliments when I apply this liner. I just love it!
