My Experience with The Face Shop The Solution Radiance Face Mask:

The Face Shop The Solution Radiance Face Mask comes in a white pouch with a yellow test tube printed on the pouch. It looks nice and was easy to carry. All the details are nicely printed on the packaging. The pouch contained one sheet. The sheet was nicely folded inside the packaging. This mask had a pleasant smell that never felt overpowering.

The Solution range is a little different from the other sheet mask ranges by The Face Shop. This range has a silvery glossy plastic film inside the packaging. This film is of the same size as the sheet mask. It has been described as ‘Air Sheet’ by the brand and yes it is a very lightweight and semi-transparent white mask. It is also very thin – only 0.21 mm – and that’s why it feels super light on the skin. The film helps to hold this fine mask easily.

This sheet mask was fully dipped in a plain white moisturizing slippery gel that glided smoothly and felt very light on the skin. I think the quantity was enough to cover up my whole face and still the gel was left inside the pouch. The size of the sheet mask was perfect for my oval face. It was not like the other masks I have used. It fit nicely and the gel easily got stuck to my face. The mask was even easy to remove. This mask felt very lightweight for my oily skin.

I kept this mask for around 20-25 minutes on the face. Then, I massaged the gel on the face for around 5 minutes and rinsed it off. The sheet was so full of moisturizer that it started to penetrate into my skin nicely after a few minutes. It never felt dry on the skin and never irritated my skin. It felt very soothing and smooth. My face looked very smooth and soft after I removed the mask. The moisturizing gel was not too oily and didn’t make my skin shiny. This one was a non-oily mask and it never made my skin feel or look greasy. It was not a super moisturizing mask but it provided a good amount of nourishment. It cannot provide excess amount of moisture for winter and you might have to follow up with a moisturiser if you have dry skin.

Honestly, I couldn’t find any major difference between the brightening mask and this radiance mask. Except that this one hydrated my skin better. This mask contains Vitamin C which is an effective skin brightening ingredient.
This mask did its job of brightening my skin nicely. My skin looked radiant and healthy after usage. It made my skin look better by tightening it.

But the effect didn’t last long. It stayed for maximum 2 days and the glow started to decrease after day 1. So this mask requires multiple sittings. Since this mask contains many chemicals, I prefer to use it only for instant brightness. The brand claims that this mask doesn’t have any parabens but it has alcohol which is definitely not good for your skin, especially for sensitive skin. Still, it didn’t break me out.
