Skin Type: Oily and Acne Prone

I recently picked up a few sheet masks from The Face Shop. I have already reviewed ‘Honey’ and ‘Avocado’. Today, I am going to share my views about the ‘Blueberry’ mask. Let’s get into the review.

My Experience with The Face Shop Blueberry Real Nature Mask:
The mask comes in a nice, matte, light blue colored plastic pouch that has blueberries printed on it. The packaging looks nice and all the details are printed on the packaging. The pouch contains only one sheet. The sheet is nicely folded inside the packaging.
This blueberry mask has a very sweet scent of berries that I totally love. If you don’t love the smell of berries then this mask is not for you, but I personally really enjoyed this smell. It was so strong that I could sense it throughout. This sheet mask was fully dipped in a plain white moisturizing slippery gel that glided smoothly and felt very light on the skin. I think the quantity was enough to cover up my whole face and still there was some extra in the pouch; I used this extra serum after removing the mask as a massage gel. The size of the sheet mask was good enough but the shape was not perfect. Since I have an oval face, I had to put in some efforts to adjust the mask on my face. It stuck nicely on my face but still the design of this mask was a little odd.
I kept this mask on for around 20 minutes on the face and then I massaged the gel for around 5 minutes. Then, I rinsed everything off. This sheet was full of a moisturizer that started to penetrate into my skin nicely just after a few minutes. It never felt dry on the skin and also it was easy to peel off from the face. After I removed the mask, my face was totally moisturized and soft. I love the fact that this is a very soothing face mask. Such sheet masks can be used for sunburn too.
This blueberry mask is specially designed to firm up the skin and to make it tighter. My skin felt so soft after the usage. This mask did its job perfectly on my oily skin. It actually firmed up skin texture and made it look youthful. My skin looked very fresh and tight. Also, the mask provided the perfect amount of hydration to my skin. It didn’t make my skin oily; but, my skin was definitely soft and supple. It felt very smooth and healthy. The brand claims that this mask doesn’t have any parabens, but it has alcohol, which is definitely not good for the skin, especially for sensitive skin. Yet this mask didn’t break me out.
It also provided a very fresh and healthy glow to the skin. It removed all the dullness and made my skin glow. The only thing I didn’t like about this mask is that the results were not long- lasting. After 2 days, my skin became dry again. Overall, it is a very nice mask for all skin types; it worked well even on my oily skin. I love this mask.
