The brand that I trust upon nowadays is Tresemme. I have used almost all the variants from this brand and my experience has been pretty good. So, this time I thought to lay my hands of Ionic Strength range. Let’s see how it turned out for me.

My Experience with TRESemme Strengthen and Protect Ionic Strength Shampoo:
The shampoo is housed in black colored bottle with black cap on it. The “Ionic Strength” is mentioned in metallic purple colored that makes these fonts pop. It has a light purple colored press to open cap which is a pro for me as this type of caps are always convenient to open. The shampoo is a white, glossy, semi thick type of liquid. The quantity required for washing depends on the hair length and thickness. It gives good lather and has a sweet smell that lingers whole day long post washing the hair.
Tresemme products are quite satisfactory in their performance. I have dandruff prone scalp and due to that hairfall has also become one of the problems for me. When I bought this shampoo, I was expecting it to give my hair some volume as my hair has become quite limp and thin due to breakage and hair fall. Also, my hair gets tangled easily. One noticeable difference it creates is that it makes my hair shiny. Also, my hair does not get tangled until next wash even on lazy days when I just roughly make buns without combing my hair. It does nothing for dandruff and hair fall, but it does not make such claims. But, it is a good shampoo if you want your hair to look healthy and shiny.
For the review’s sake, I didn’t apply any conditioner post washing my hair with this shampoo just to check its own performance. Also, I used this shampoo twice a week. I must say that it gave me good results. I didn’t feel the need to apply a conditioner and yet my hair looked healthy.

• It leaves the hair shiny and untangled
• Improves the appearance of hair
• Sweet, mild fragrance that lingers whole day
• Smooth, semi thick liquid
• It produces good amount of lather
• Conditioner is not required with this shampoo (atleast, I don’t the feel the need)
Cons of TRESemme Strengthen and Protect Ionic Strength Shampoo:
• Doesn’t control hair fall
• Doesn’t cure dandruff

Yes, I have already tried all the variants of Tresemme and found them worth buying every time. I would highly recommend this particular shampoo to beauties who want to enhance the shine and overall appearance of their hair.
Verdict:
This is the kinda shampoo that doesn’t cure any of the hair problems related to hair fall, dandruff , itchiness. But, it can be used to improve the overall appearance of the hair.

I like TRESemme products, but the smell of their products put me off. It’s just too strong for my liking.
This one seems like a decent shampoo. Heard a lot about TRESemme but never tried. I will try this 🙂
