Try Victoria’s Secret Luminous Eyeshadow in Shade Blutopia For Bubbly Blue Eyes!

With beginning of winters in India, one more season begins ‘The Big Fat Indian Wedding Season’. Come December and you will have to prepare a list of weddings to be attended. So you will need to be ready with heavy Anarkali suits and your makeup, and in Makeup, Eyeshadow plays a very important part. Today I am sharing with you my experience on Victoria’s Secret Luminous Eyeshadow in Shade Blutopia.

Product Description:

The eyeshadow comes in a cute silver blue bottle. Every shade in this range has color specific packaging which makes it quiet easy to choose and pick the shade you want. The little bottle with a long cap has a sponge applicator, making the eyeshadow super-duper easy to use. The bottle is very light weight, showing the brand name on the front side and the shade name on the lower side.

Quantity: 1gm.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Luminous Eyeshadow in Shade Blutopia:

Eye makeup is an art. You can’t master it just few days. It needs a full practice before you actually get compliments from others. Such easy peasy shadows help you better your skills with time in this art.

Shade: Beginning with the shade of the eyeshadow, it super pretty light blue shade with a hint of green and some shimmer. The glitter particles are so fine that you won’t ever complain of its shimmery look. It I such a pretty shade that once applied, it would turn your dull boring eyes into charming bubby eyes which just want to say something.

Texture: The eyeshadow is very smooth and soft, thus making it very easy to apply. The in-built sponge applicator is yet another brownie point which makes its application quick and clean.

Pigmentation: Since the color is light, you might want to add on another layer after the first swipe. I won’t say the color payoff is not good in the first stroke, but yes, you need to reapply another coat to get the full color. And the little shimmer it has, adds elegance to the color.

Staying Power: The eyeshadow stays on for long, without fading which is the best part of this product. You need not re-apply or do touch ups time and again on your eyes.

This is my first product from Victoria’s Secret and I am quite satisfied with the results.

Pros of Victoria’s Secret Luminous Eyeshadow in Shade Blutopia:

It is a beautiful shade which can be applied either on special occasions of just to add bit of charm to your eyes during regular office days.
Shimmer particles are super fine and thus they do not give you a feel as if the eye makeup is over the top.
The in-built sponge applicator is amazing and makes the application of the loose powder eyeshadow easier.
Pigmentation and staying power is awesome. You won’t complaint ever on both these aspects

Cons of Victoria’s Secret Luminous Eyeshadow in Shade Blutopia:

Though the eyeshadow can be removed from the eye lid with a simple cotton roll, but it leaves behind the fine glitter particles. Also when I removed it with the help of my Maybelline makeup remover, the glitter particles still managed to cling on the eye lid.
While applying a second coat or when blending in the eyeshadow, you need to be a little careful as the shiny little particles start scattering on the unwanted areas of the eye.
Lastly, its availability in India is a major problem. Not so easily available over the counters in malls or stores. 🙂
