I previously shared a detailed review of the 4 metallic nail paints from Gucci. These are 3 more colors from the same collection.
Iconic Bronze 180: It is a true shimmery orangey bronze shade and probably the only one that I do not like. This goes on sheer and a bit streaky and needs 3 coats to get the full opacity. Plus I don’t find the color very flattering…
Iconic Ottanio 220 : It is such a stunning turquoise blue with turquoise and silver shimmer. It gives that molten metallic blue look to the nails.
Absolute Purple 230 : It is probably one of my favourite purple nail paints. It has that little gothic feel to it and it much such a statement on its own. Two coats are enough to get a rich opaque color for this one.
Price : USD 29
These are absolutely gorgeous nail paints. They are creamy, go on smoothly on nails, two coats give an intense metallic finish and they don’t chip. I wear them for 4-5 days at a stretch and they have never chipped. I love the gorgeous square bottle. The brush is of fine quality and fans beautifully on the nail. They have been in perfect condition for more than a year now. They are very high shine and the hi-gloss stays for around 2-3 days. Even though these are filled with shimmer, they never feel gritty. Your nails feel and look smooth. The only con is that they are available only at exclusive Gucci stores. But if you can get hold of them, I’d highly recommend these nail paints. Worth every penny.
Rating : 5/5 ; Giving a 3.5/5 for The Iconic bronze shade because it has issues.
