1. Vegetable Juices to Remove Tanning and Pigmentation:
Potato juice and tomato juice are excellent home remedies for treating and removing tan from the skin. They contain a high amount of vitamin C and A as well as polyphenols. Both tomato and potato have natural bleaching properties, so you don’t have to use harsh bleach directly on the face. In addition, tomatoes have exfoliating properties that will help to transform dull skin into a radiant complexion. Simply extract the juice from either vegetable, or use a combination, and apply with a cotton ball. Rinse off later and repeat three times a week to remove tan.

2. Fruit Pulp to Nourish and Treat Blemished Skin:
Acne scars and blemishes often make our skin look unhealthy and dull. Certain fruits such as mango and papaya contain enzymes that naturally lighten the scars and nourish damaged skin. Mash the ripe chopped fruit in a bowl and use it as a mask on the face. Leave it on for a few minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.

3. Potent Skin Lightening Condiments:
Turmeric is a strong lightening ingredient due to the presence of curcumin, which helps to brighten the complexion to a great extent. A small pinch added into a face mask can do wonders. Another popular ancient ingredient is saffron, which has been used for many years in skin lightening.

4. Seed Oil Facial Massage:
Oils like kalonji oil and jojoba oil are excellent for massaging the skin and boosting blood circulation to provide brighter complexion. They also contain antioxidants that help to fight free radicals which may damage the skin. Simply take a few drops of any such oil and warm it between the fingers. Smooth the oil onto the face and gently massage in upward circular motions. Lemon juice or olive oil may also be added to these massage oils.

5. Consumption of Vitamin C Rich Foods:
Vegetables like tomatoes and lemons as well as berries like strawberries, raspberries and blueberries are packed with vitamin C. This nutrient can provide a healthy glow from within if incorporated in a balanced diet.

6. Proper Sleep and Water Intake:
A full night’s rest is essential for the skin on our face to restore itself well. Always ensure that you remove all traces of makeup and follow up with the CTM routine. The amount of water one drinks also plays an important role as it helps to flush out toxins and clear the skin of pimples.

7. Grains for Natural Exfoliation: Grains like oats and rice are excellent for brightening the skin tone while exfoliating away dead skin cells and cleaning clogged pores. They also boost blood circulation to provide clear and glowing skin.
