Hello Ladies!

Today, I am reviewing the Adidas Fresh 24H Anti-Perspirant Roll On Deodorant for Women – in Pro Clear. (It is also available as a deo spray and a deo stick).

Smelling good at all times comes first for me, even before being well-dressed does! It is therefore, a priority for me to carry a handy deodorant with me in my bag all the time. I personally believe that deodorant sprays are a tad too over-powering, in comparison to roll-on deodorants, which give a subtle feel-good fresh smell, just the right amount, that is!

I came across these cute little deodorants about three years back while I was travelling. I had picked up all the 6 fragrances at that time – 2 of each. (I basically wanted to stock up as much as possible- I had a premonition I’d never get them in India).  They lasted me for about a year-and-a-half or maybe a little more. Roughly, each lasted for somewhere close to 2 months. I had been hunting for these deodorants like a hungry lion for the past one year with no feat what so ever! I saw these at In-and-Out the day before; pushed back into a corner, completely ignored, totally neglected. I almost shrieked in excitement (Trust me, I did! I even scared an old uncle standing behind me!) when I saw these. It was like Columbus discovering America kind of moment! Like Armstrong on Moon! Like a little kid finding it’s long lost dearest toy. I picked up all (Yes! ALL!) the bottles available there, fearing I might lose them again. I shall review those too, as and when I get to them.

So! Now that you have a briefing on how treasured these are for me.  Here goes the complete review:

Why I Love Adidas For Women Pro Clear 24h Anti-Perspirant:

• Good Product Quality: The deodorant is a white colour semi-liquid product. It has that swirly round ball like thing (don’t know what it’s called!), which you swing on your underarm. It gives a plenty amount in just one go. I roll it only twice and I am done.
• Excellent Staying Power: Although the deodorant doesn’t stand up to the company’s claim for a 24-hour protection, it does stay put for a long, long day. It remains on for up to 10-12 hours on me. Even at the end of the day, I can feel its sweet little smell.
• Tidiness: This deodorant is completely mess free. It doesn’t become runny or watery after application. It does in fact dry up very quickly. So, 10 on 10 for that claim! It doesn’t leave any white ugly marks on my shirts unlike the other popular ones like Nivea and Sure.
• Fantastic Smell: It has a lovely, fresh and natural fragrance. It’s sweet, and not at all over the top. It’s a girly fragrance, which will definitely be liked by one and all. You can also, easily wear your favourite perfume on along with this, without any kind of mixing up of smells. This deodorant quietly and effectively does the business it is meant to- control sweat!
• Good Packaging: I love the cute little bottle. It is so easy to carry around in your bag. The cap shuts tightly, making it mess-free. Its light-silvery cap gives it a chic, feminine and sophisticated look. Its white colour conveys the clean and clear benefit it claims.
• Fine Consistency: The product’s consistency is just right. It is just the right amount of semi-liquid; not too runny and not too thick. It also thus, stands steady at its Quick Dry claim.

The Dislikes:

• Contains Alcohol: Now this can be quite upsetting for most! This one has alcohol – Cetearyl Alcohol. (I personally have repressed this one! I love it so much, I had to!)
• Steep Price: Yes! It is a little costly in a competitive market where a hundred other similar products are available at a much lesser price. (But you do get a good quality product! Ignore again!)
• Availability: Now, this can be an issue. I myself had been struggling for almost a year after the miracle discovery at In-and-Out! To be more specific (for all you Delhiites), I found these at the Moolchand In-an-Out store. I’m not even sure if these are available at the other branches – haven’t seen them around!

Final Verdict:

To sum it all up, I’d say that this is a 9/10 product.

I would definitely recommend giving it a shot, just once at least! Many of you may be anti-alcohol-containing-products, I too am, a wee bit! But all the plus points it has, force me to let go of this one. As far as the price goes, there’s no harm trying something expensive, when it’s totally worth it! Which will happen only of course if you happen to find these playing-hard-to-get little musketeers! Well, if you do, pick them! You may end up liking them!
