I was so overwhelmed by Ahava products that I shopped so many of them. After using quite a few of them, I would like to tell you that not all Ahava products are worth it. My favourite is the face wash. Some of the face masks are really good and some are pretty average. Today, I am reviewing the Ahava Purifying Mud Mask.

My Experience with Ahava Purifying Mud Mask:
The mask comes in a medium sized tube with all the details written on it. The tube has earthy colours and looks elegant. Ahava Purifying Mud Mask is very similar to multani mitti. I prefer using face masks once or twice a week. It is light brown in color. It smells pleasant and the fragrance is not very over powering. It is a clay and mud mask.
The product takes some time to dry completely but can be easily washed off. It is recommended to keep the mask for 2 minutes but it takes more time to dry completely. The product also claims to soothe any breakout but I did not see it happening. It did nothing to my pimples. I found it a little drying for my skin. For people with oily skin, it might be a good mask. It is not meant for dry or sensitive skin. I felt that the mask was not doing anything special for my skin.
My expectations were really high after knowing all the claims it made. I am totally disappointed with this product. It did not do anything bad or good for my skin. It is nothing better than multani mitti. It worked on the blackheads but they were not completely gone.
Overall, it’s a very basic face mask which will dry out sensitive and dry skin. It might work for oily skin.

- Easy to apply and also very easy to rinse off.
- Good mask for oily skin.
- Paraben free.
- SLS/SELS free.
- Allergy tested.
Cons of Ahava Purifying Mud Mask:
- Expensive.
- Performs just like multani mitti.
- Dries out skin (especially, if you have dry or sensitive skin).
- Tested on animals.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Ahava Purifying Mud Mask?
I think multani mitti works the same way and hence you should not waste money on this.
