Today’s review is all about Alverde Cleansing milk Bio-Wildrose. Alverde is a cruelty-free natural cosmetics brand.
This product is Organic-certified and free of synthetic fragrances, dyes, preservatives, as well as mineral oil-based ingredients. The raw materials used are preferably from organic farming. Cleansing milk is a must-have makeup remover product for me. I find cleansing milk to be the mildest form to remove makeup, especially when the skin is irritated. This product from Alverde is targeted to dry skinned people. I picked up this as I have dry and sensitive skin. Let’s get into the details.

My Experience with Alverde Cleansing milk Bio-Wildrose:
The product comes in a long plastic bottle which is white and pink in color. The lid is pink in colour and is flap type. The lid opens and closes quite tightly. It is definitely travel-friendly as I have travelled with it and it never opened by itself.
I use a big walnut sized amount of the cleansing milk for my face and neck. I first wet my face with water and then use the cleansing milk. One can also use a cotton pad or cloth to work with, but I find using my hand is the easiest. One has to use slight pressure and work on the eyes especially to remove eyeliner and mascara.
The fragrance is that of wildrose. I am used to this fragrance also from Weleda. But, this fragrance is a personal choice and hence not for everyone. The cleansing milk is white in color and creamy in texture.
On the wet face, the product spreads very well and then I wash it off with luke warm water. The product also washes off well leaving no residue on skin. The product does not burn the eyes nor the skin. But in case there are cuts or open wound on skin, it might cause a slight burning sensation.
Coming to its effectiveness in removing the makeup, I would say it gets rid of 90% of the makeup. It’s kind of difficult to get rid of 100% eye makeup with this. There is usually tiny bit here and there still left around the eye. My skin does not feel dry after using the product. The skin feels clean and moisturized. Since I have dry skin, I need to use night cream, if not immediately but after a few hours.
I use cleansing milk in combination with makeup wipe or micellar water. Overall, it’s a good product and is sufficient if you do not go heavy on makeup.
