Hope you are all doing great. Australis cosmetics have some bomb metallic cream eyeshadows and I recently picked up two of them. So today, I am going to review “Australis Cosmetics Metallix Cream Eyeshadow” in the shade “Midnight Foil“. Let’s get started with the review.

Product Description:
Cream eyeshadow that will provide high coverage and intense colour pay off, leaving your eyes with a metallic foil finish! Metallix cream eyeshadows contain Vitamin E and anti-oxidants to help smooth and soften the eyelids whilst hydrating and protection against UV.

How to Use:
Apply to clean primed lid. Using finger or brush to apply directly lid.

My Experience with Australis Cosmetics Metallix Cream Eyeshadow Midnight Foil:

These eyeshadows comes housed in a cute little plastic pots with a transparent lid. The shade name is present at the back of the pot. There are around nine shades in this range comprising of gold, bronze, copper, silver, grey, blue, purple, black and white.

“Midnight Foil” is a beautiful black metallic cream eyeshadow. This shade is perfect for a gorgeous smokey eye look and it adds a lot of zing to a traditional smokey eye.

The product sits somewhere in between a cream and a gel making it easy to apply, while the Metallic Foil is gorgeous, sparkly and super intense. These cream eyeshadows from Australis Cosmetics have metallic foil finish and are perfect to take your day time subtle eye makeup to night time glamorous eye makeup. Due to light reflecting shimmer particles, these add depth and dimension to the eyes.

These have a mousse like formula and they blend like a dream. Once blended, these take a few seconds to set in place like gel based eye makeup products do and then, they stay put. The pigmentation is the best thing about these eyeshadows. Just one swipe and these are fully opaque and give you the most gorgeous metallic effect. To use this, we need to take some on the tip of your finger and apply on your eyelids to get the perfect intense color. We can also use a brush for applying this, but I feel that fingers work just the best with these eyeshadows. These also contain Vitamin E and Antioxidants to soften and hydrate the eyelids.

These also have a decent staying power. They stay put on the lids for around five hours without a eyeshadow primer. They do stay longer when a proper primer is applied.

Overall, I love these eyeshadows. They are wonderful eyeshadows, beginner-friendly, easy to use, very blendable, richly pigmented and versatile. I highly recommend these. They work like high-end shadows and are great to be used on special occasions and can take your eye makeup to a notch up without much efforts.
