Hair type: Dry/Damaged hair.
I was recently out for my hair spa treatments and that’s when I spotted this product at Health and glow. I think they are new launches by Beauty Formulas in India. I picked 3 variants and here is the coolest looking one called “avocado oil” wax. I have always seen youtube videos where they rave so much about avocados for hair but, sadly we don’t get many here, so the moment I saw this, I picked it up. Read on to know the complete details.
Price: Rs 345 for 500 ml.
* Intensive Deep Conditioning Treatment Wax.
* Restores softness, shine and lustre.
* Will not colour hair.
My Experience with Beauty Formulas Avocado Oil Treatment Wax:
Packaging: The avocado oil treatment wax from Beauty formulas comes in a big jar which is fat and sturdy. It has a nice label over it which mentions the name and other details. The wax inside it is green in colour. Being a see-through jar it is very to distinguish each product from the other variants. It’s also convenient to check the quantity. A very little quantity is required at once since it is a wax which glides super smoothly on my hair. It is very cheap as well. Since it just came for 345 bucks which is pretty cool and I haven’t really seen hair spa treatment products at this cost.
Consistency, Smell and Feel on the Hair: The hair treatment comes in a bright and refreshing minty green colour which looks super cute. The consistency is super thick as compared to the other creamy hair spa products. It spreads nicely and drenches my hair in it. It has a little over-powering scent which I liked but, some might find it a bothering one. It feels a bit waxy the moment I apply it on my hair and rinsing it might be a 2-3 minutes task.
Results: The hair spa results are a lot better for normal hair than damaged hair because this product is not specifically formulated for damaged hair. It worked a lot better on my mom’s hair. For my hair, it detangled the knots instantly but, not completely, I could still feel a few kinks and knots. It did add a lot of shine, silkiness and smoothness to my hair. I could see them looking a lot healthier with every use. I do not use it more than twice a week or I don’t leave it for more than 5 minutes as my hair becomes a bit hard. The results are more visible on the next day, so if you want to use it then use it on the previous day of the event/occasion. It did everything as it claimed but, I think creamy hair spas work better for me.
Conclusion: These are pretty cool, I think Beauty Formulas should come up with new products more frequently since they are very budget-friendly for people who spend frugally.
