I recently purchased a few products from Beauty Formulas and today I am going to share my views on Beauty Formulas Bamboo Charcoal Konjac Facial Sponge. I’d never used any konjac sponge and was excited to try this one. Now, read on to know how this one fared for me.

My Experience with Beauty Formulas Bamboo Charcoal Konjac Facial Sponge:

Beauty Formulas Bamboo Charcoal Konjac Facial Sponge comes in a normal white pouch with information about it. The actual sponge is black in color and has a thin cotton string that helps to hang it. It looks very similar to the other konjac sponges. Initially, the sponge feels extremely hard and rough, but once I soak the sponge in water, it becomes softer. Once it turns super soft, squeeze the sponge and remove extra water.

I have to soak the sponge each time before using it. The sponge feels extremely gentle on the skin and never hurts my sensitive skin. The sponge has some tiny bubble holes that soak the water nicely and gently clean the skin. I prefer to use this sponge with my daily face wash and it effectively removes dirt and impurities from the pores.

It makes skin clear and fresh. I have oily skin and I use it without the cleanser too. It helps to make my skin smoother, softer and healthier even without a cleanser. It leaves my skin non-oily, smooth and supple. Cleansing with this sponge helps to reduce winter dullness too and the sponge exfoliates the skin well. But it cannot remove blackheads effectively.

The product is 100% natural and doesn’t have any sulphates or parabens. It’s made of activated charcoal, hence is good for the skin. My skin now looks healthier and I can notice some changes in it. I feel my skin is improving with each usage.

It makes cleansing easier and more effective. It suits my sensitive skin well and does not cause any irritation. I feel it can be used on the body as well but this size is a little small for the body. So, I use this one just on my facial skin. The quality and texture of this sponge are really good and it is easy to rinse too.

It takes a long time to dry; it never dries out completely if I use it everyday. As per the brand, I need to replace my sponge every three months, which is a short time period. Still it is a great product for the performance it delivers. It cleanses the skin very well and exfoliates it too. I love using this konjac sponge in winters.
