Due to pollution, heat, dandruff, etc., I now have an ever present problem of hair fall. I went to a dermatologist and the dandruff problem was solved, but there is no escaping the heat and pollution. I saw this oil on cosmetix.in and I thought I might just as well give it a try. I had heard a lot about the ability of Bhringraj in curing alopecia ( baldness) and I just wanted to reduce/stop the hair-fall, way small thing, right? I religiously started using it.

The smell reminded me of Hair and Care’s oil and it was just as light. The first time I applied it, I decided on keeping it overnight. It was a nightmare!!! My scalp itched and itched, you know, the way it feels when you have a realllyyyyyy dry scalp in winter and no matter how much oil you apply, the feeling doesn’t go away.
The weird thing is, I don’t have a dry scalp and I just could not understand what had happened. So, I checked the list of ingredients and there was nothing I could find which could cause a reaction. I shampooed my hair next morning and conditioned it with L’oreal Damage repair masque, the hair felt a lot softer than it usually did! I still felt very brave and tried it again, but this time, I applied it in morning and washed it after couple of hours and there still was that dry scalp feeling.

I wanted to check if it was my scalp’s problem, so I applied olive oil and there was no dry feeling, but the hair after shampoo+ conditioner was not as smooth.
What it Claims:
Nourishes the scalp and strengthens hair strands to encourage fresh growth and help diminish graying.
Directions For Use:
Apply liberally to dry hair and scalp. Massage gently. Leave oil for half an hour and rinse well with water.
What it Did For Me:
The oil made my hair a lot silkier, but the second time I applied the oil, the dry scalp feeling was back after a few hours. Finally, I decided to keep it for not more than half an hour ever! Sadly, hair-fall has not reduced, but hair is definitely a lot more smoother. I cannot say anything about graying, since I don’t have that problem.
Ingredients:
Price:
Rs. 159 for 120 ml, but I got it for Rs. 145.
Figure 1-Looks transparent but has a slight greenish colour.
Pros:
• I like the smell.
• Price.
• Smoother, silkier hair!
Cons:
• That dry scalp sensation, but I don’t know if it is universal or it’s just me.
• No reduction in hair fall.
Will I Buy it Again? No.

I had high hopes for this one but at least others won’t have to go through the same…I eat well, my problem is pollution 😐

biotique is coming up with so many duds these days. :spank: :spank: :spank: :spank: :spank:
I knoww…..I bought that stupid sea weed gel because I couldn’t find the review for it and it was useless 🙁 and then I saw the review:|
even i didn’t like the sea weed gel
ya sach mein bad one..hair oils one wouldn’t think you could go wrong but apparently Biotique has successfully managed that too.. :spank:
I am wondering what I should do with the rest of the oil…maybe use it for oiling locks when they get stuck :methinks:
biotique products never work for me :nababana: for hairfall i always trust my mintop hairfall solution! :waytogo:
Mintop forte right??? My dermatologist prescribed it and it worked…..I will buy it again…thanks for reminding me 😉
I have used this oil some 3 years back, and I loved its fragrance a lot! it was like any normal oil I think, nothing special,
Even I liked the smell but not the product :struggle:
oriflame spa oil is v nice , . . ll stick to dat
oh no… i got mine today :yikes:

even i got it from cosmetix.in 😛 , i want to grow my hair fast fast 😛 as Maansi mentioned her hair do feel softer i think it’ll work for me 😛
Taps does it promote hair growth ??
no but you will not experience any such hair fall and it nourishes hair and really keeps them soft, i liked its fragrance very much !
pheww… i shd try then 😉
If this doesn’t work, try using pure almond oil and not the likes of Bajaj almond oil which have mineral oil added as well. It worked for me :waytogo:
good review manasi…..but the product is a total dud from my side too….and that itchiness is horrible :spank: :spank: :spank: u can never sleep with this product over ur head :scream: :scream: :scream: also, i didnt even feel any softness in my hair texture until i applied a conditioner!!!! 😯 😯 😯 so actually its the conditioner that gave the softness 😯 😯 😯 very bad product!!!! :hunterwali: :hunterwali: :hunterwali:
So the itchiness is widespread….I thought it was only me. I am now using olive oil :specs:
