Today, it seems to be a Bobbi Brown day for me. I have another lipstick review – and this one is “Bahama Brown.” I thought I will finish my Bobbi Brown lipstick reviews and then move on to other products.

My Experience with Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color Bahama Brown:
Packaging: Bobbi Brown moved from her classic black packaging to the one colour which has always indicated luxe – gold! So, the case for the luxe lip color happens to be a golden one with Bobbi Brown written on the side and her lovely logo etched on top. The bullet itself is free from any branding. The lipstick has the regular twist-up mechanism and lacks the magnetic closure. However, the cap fits in snugly, so there are very little chances of it coming undone in a bag. As with all things Bobbi Brown – the lipstick comes packaged in a black box, which has the ingredients mentioned on it.
Shade: The shade, “Bahama Brown,” is a medium, rosy mauve brown with a warm undertone and a creamy finish. I had thought this would be a 90s type of brown, but I should have known better. Bobbi doesn’t do gothic makeup, everything has to be wearable. The shade is very pretty neutral, easy to carry of shade. The rosy-ness makes it more wearable and flattering – and extra appealing to me.
Texture: The lipstick feels extremely lightweight. It glides on with buttery smoothness. You don’t need to layer it up, but if you do, it still won’t get cakey or heavy. The beauty of the product also lies in the fact that the smoothness with which it glides, stays on. The satin smoothness does not get drying over time. It keeps the lips hydrated as promised by Bobbi Brown. At the end of the day, your lips feel better off having worn the lipstick. For this shade, the texture doesn’t move around too much on the lips. It adheres well to the lips once applied. Yes, it does transfer to other surface it touches, because of the satin finish, but you do not feel the slip on the lips. The smoothness it provides to the lips make them appear plumped and luscious. The fine lines on my lips seem less evident with this one.
Pigmentation: Pigmentation is quite good. It was fully opaque in a single swipe. The colour hides my lip pigmentation very well.
Lasting Power: The lipstick gives you about 5-5.5 hours of wear. This shade doesn’t leave any stain. As the lipstick starts to wear off, it does so evenly, without getting or looking patchy.
Fragrance: There is a very faint fragrance – when I put my nose to it!

Would I Recommend Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color Bahama Brown?
Such shades are quite popular in the west because they make for easy and flattering wear – especially for office goers. Normally, I see such shades having a bit more brown in it which makes it look stunning on Caucasian skin – but not on ours. Since this is more rosy mauve – than brown – it looks super pretty and youthful on our skin too.
