The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel
Hello Imbb Beauties….
Reviewing The Body Shop products gives me the pleasure of knowing a brand in and out. The recent haul gave me the opportunity to pick a few products I wanted to try since a very long time. Today I am going to review the cleansing gel from the Nutriganics range. This is claimed to be an organic product, 99% natural ingredients and 45% from organic farming.
Price: Rs. 1295/- for 100ml(I got it at 50% off during the sale)
Claims: Smoothing, refreshing gel-to-oil cleanser lifts away make-up and impurities. With Community Trade organic babassu oil. Fights Signs of aging.
Directions for use:
Apply a small amount to dry skin with fingertips, massaging in an upward circular motion. Rinse with clean water. Use morning and evening. If product gets in eyes, rinse with clean water. Store in a cool place.
My experience with The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel:
I found the idea of applying a cleansing gel on dry skin quite interesting. And when this was on 50% off I had to pick this up. Coming to the texture of the product, it is a gel which on massaging becomes an oily layer on the skin. Only 2 pea size product is enough to cover the full face. Though I was not wearing much make up but on splashing water after massage I saw all traces of make-up gone. Am sure beauties who apply kohl on waterline find it difficult to remove but this did a good job. I was slightly apprehensive that if it removes make-up how it can say rinse with water if product gets into eyes. But my worries were put to rest once I used this. Overall a nice product with no false claims.
Pros of The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel:
• Nice texture.
• Tube packaging, so hygienic.
• No parabens.
• Does its job.
Cons of The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel :
• Very expensive.
Imbb Rating: 4/5
Would I recommend/repurchase The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel?
Recommend: umm…you can try if you like to experiment with new products (I love to)
Repurchase: I will try something else before coming back to this.
Will be back soon….till then stay tuned.

Thanks for the review. This gel like consistency seems to be quite interesting and I am tempted to give it a try. But I do have very mixed feelings abt TBS becos some of their products have worked wonderfully well for me (tea Tree stuff especially) but their eye care and some makeup have been big let downs. Will keep a lookout for their Sales and might try this then. *whistle*
I agree Aru, TBS has been inconsistent in terms of performance…we just have to try n test….
Nice review. Wish I had picked it up then, sounds really good and no false claims *announce*
