I loved the sight of the palette and picked it up, but turns out most colors would wash us out, but somehow it looks so tempting to carry around, but the applicator, I mean really, I cannot imagine applying this with a felt tip applicator, but it is good and well made no doubt

The palette comes with three shades, mostly nudes, the texture is very sheer, you can build it up but it is not like a thick lip cream, it is more like a tinted lip balm, many of us who wear lighter shasdes to office and college will love it but then do not expect much staying power from them.

Talk about bourjois rising prices, it is really heart breaking, any way lets see the shades individually.

The top most shade, is a peachy pink, very sheer but can be built up, it will wash out warm skin tones, but you can apply it on top of lippies as a gloss or to lighten the lippy, works fine.

 

The middle shade is a very light milky peach it barely shows up on me and looks very light so washes me out, very sheer again, I can imagine this working on top of a lipstick, but on its own it is barely like a tinted lip balm, check out if you like such lighter shades.

 

The third shade turned out so different once I swiped it on, it turned out like a yellowy brown inside, more like a duochrome shade, and the pigmentation was so unlike what I thought it would be, it is not a plum like it looks, it is a sheer brown, but this shade would still work for Indian skin tones,works well as a gloss or tinted lip balm.

 

These swatches will help you, these are not good for pigmented lips, makes for a good nude lip palette though, but otherwise check other shades, it is great for dry lips.

The staying power is barely one to one and a half hours, considering it is so sheer, I think it is good to top your matte lipsticks or someone who loves sheer lips. Otherwise it is a miss for me.
