Hello lovers 😉 ,
I’m sure all of you acne-prone beauties are s*ckers for anything with Tea-Tree oil. I know I certainly am! Recently, I’ve been suffering from daily breakouts and my skin feels like it has been overdosed with dermatologist acne creams. I decided to go off them and stick to a simple moisturizer. However, every moisturizer I tried seemed to break me out! Nothing seemed to help, no face washes, no creams and then winter set in. I was all like Oh Hello dry skin… NOT!
So anyway, I’ve heard about turmeric and tea tree and their amazing skin healing properties so I started using a turmeric mask as a remedy and the results were WOW! But, making it and washing it was very cumbersome. So little old lazy me, I thought to myself this is it. I’ll buy everything that has turmeric in it! I went to the nearest pharmacy on a turmeric mission 🙂 . I stumbled upon this face wash by Brihans. For all of you who haven’t heard of this brand, it is the same one that makes the Aloe Gel in the small bulb like bottle. Does that ring a bell? 🙂
Use it for a clean, fresh glowing face. It reduces pimples and treats acne. It is also soap free with micro beads for a gentle exfoliation.
My Experience with Brihans Green Leaf Aloe Face Wash Gel:
The product feels just like Aloe Gel. I was skeptical of how it would feel on the face, I am obsessed with face washes that foam up and leave you behind with squeaky-clean skin (yes I know these contain detergents and other harmful chemicals!). I’m really lazy to take off my make up with make up remover sometimes, so I like a strong foamy face wash that does the trick. If you are one of those kinds of people, or if you’re generally inflexible then this product is not for you! It does not foam up and will not give you a squeaky clean face if you do not take off your make up before using it.
I personally didn’t like it the first few times, but you get use to it. The aloe-like gel has small granules, which make for great daily exfoliation. They are gentle enough to not harm your skin. My overall experience after using this for about a month was great. My tan wore off a bit and my skin broke out lesser. The dry skin I was suffering from, reduced. Don’t expect miracles though! It takes time for the results to show, so be patient. But I have to be honest, I never used this twice a day. I would either use it in the morning while taking a shower or at night. I need to feel squeaky-clean. Maybe it is just mental. 😛
Overall, a good face wash for anyone looking for an ayurvedic/herbal brand. It also happens to be really cheap.

Would I recommend Brihans Green Leaf Aloe Face Wash Gel?
I don’t have acne anymore. I’d definitely try out this product again should I have another annoying breakout! 🙂
