My Experience with Catrice 030 Brow-N-Eyed Peas Eye Brow Stylist:

I initially wanted to go for brow stylist palettes but, as I am still a beginner, I decided to go for the safer option, i.e. the pencil. With several suggestions from MGians, I went for a brown pencil rather than a black one; a brown pencil makes the brows look natural. I decided to go for this pencil because it had a spoolie brush with it.

The eyebrow pencil is a sharpenable wooden pencil. It has the eyebrow product on one side and a brush on the other side. The pencil is sealed and you can be assured that no one has used it. There are caps for the brush and the pencil both. The cap on the pencil lead side is tight but the cap on the brush side is a little loose and I think it would come off during the course of time. The colour of the pencil is dark brown and the pigmentation is good. You can see the pigmentation on the eyebrows but when you try to draw, it can be a little tricky and is not easy to glide.

The brush is swirly and is very good to groom the eyebrows before using the pencil and the brush can also be used to smoothen out the colour afterwards. The wire holding the brush is satisfactory. It is easily bendable. Overall, the brush is quite good and I am happy with it. Coming to the eyebrow pencil, I initially thought that the colour wouldn’t suit me as there was no tester available. The brow pencil isn’t intense and when drawn it looks very natural. The brow pencil has more of a powdery finish despite being a pencil. The pencil can be used to easily create subtle eyebrow lines for the natural shape of the eyebrows.

The brow pencil is waterproof; when I tested, I took a nice shower without removing the eyebrow pencil and it survived. However, when brushed with a spoolie, the intensity reduces. The eyebrow pencil also stays on for a long time. The intensity of the eyebrow pencil stays for a good number of hours and then fades a bit. But, overall, the staying power of the pencil is around 8 hours. The eyebrow pencil is very easy and convenient to handle. So overall, the eyebrow pencil is a good buy.
