Hello gorgeous ladies,
I have been loving a lot of Hard Candy products lately. Actually, when I was in India, I would see bloggers using Hard Candy makeup and raving about them. I also came to know that some products were not as good. So basically, I had a clear picture of which products from Hard Candy I would purchase and which ones I would skip if I had a chance to pick them up. And now, when I have access to this brand, I am showing it a lot of love! Today, the product that I am going to review is the Hard Candy Brows Now in the shade “Medium Dark.” Let’s find out if it made my brows “Wow.”
An eyebrow shaping kit that includes everything you need to shape brows like a pro! Compact contains a brow powder duo, soft brow wax and cream highlighter. The long-wearing powders come in complimentary shades so you can custom blend for superior shade matching. Tame and set unruly brows with the setting wax. Enhance and lift brow bone with the cream highlighter. Also includes a mirror, a hard angle brush applicator and blending brush, and guided instructions for expert application.
My Experience with Hard Candy Brows Now Ultimate All-in-One Brow Powder Kit:
Honestly, the best and the easiest way for me to do my brows is by using an eyebrow pencil. And after hunting for that one brow pencil that would make my life simpler, I finally found my perfect match – it’s the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer, but being the makeup lover and experimenter (is that even a word?) that I am, I wanted to try the different formats of eyebrow products. I have never used an eyebrow pomade or an eyebrow powder with the wax and stuff. So, when I came across the Hard Candy Brow Wow kit, I grabbed it and at CAD 9.99, you can’t go wrong, right?
Packaging: OMG! Let’s talk about it ladies! The packaging of this baby is so elaborate yet so practical. This eyebrow kit comes with a dark brow powder, a light brow powder, an eyebrow highlight, bow wax, two teenie weenie applicators and yes, a mirror! Can you believe that! That’s what I would call a kit! If you see the pictures, you’ll realize how cute the packaging is! This kit comes with an outer packaging that has all the details and the instructions about using this kit in the best possible way.
Color: This eyebrow kit is available in 2 shades – Light Medium (1064) and Medium Dark (1065). I obviously picked up the darker shade as I have dark brows and the light medium shade is too light for me. Also, there are two shades of powder in the same kit. So, either of the shades can be used for the brows or if they still don’t match, then the two shades can be mixed and matched to the brows. I prefer using the lighter shade at the very beginning of my brows to give it a natural look and then use the darker shade for the rest of the brow.
Pigmentation: A brow powder should have medium pigmentation or else just one swipe across our brows will make us look like a one of the rakshasas that Ravana had! 😛 Sorry for the bad one guys, but I hope you get the picture. This Hard Candy Brow Kit has the prefect pigmentation to create natural-looking brows, but I do not like the highlighter that comes with this kit. It has a terrible consistency and swipes very patchy on the skin.
Texture: The brow powders have a very suitable texture. They apply nicely and have no fallout. The brow wax is also nice and creamy and does not smear or feather off the brows. As I said, the only product that I don’t like as a part of this kit is the highlighter. As you can see in the images, it didn’t even swatch well.
Longevity: To be honest, I was not expecting much in terms of longevity out of this brow powder kit and any brow powder in general, but I was wrong. If the whole kit is used the way it should be used, then the product does stay on the brows for about 7-8 hours. Also, the wax prevents the brow hair from getting unruly.
Quality: The overall quality of this Hard Candy Brow Wow Kit is very good except the highlighter. The teenie weenie applicators that come with the kit are average quality and still usable. I would say this will be the perfect kit for travelling as one container has all the things to get flawless eyebrows. Good work Hard Candy!

- Very affordable.
Cons of Hard Candy Brows Now Ultimate All-in-One Brow Powder Kit:

Would I Recommend Hard Candy Brows Now Ultimate All-in-One Brow Powder Kit?
If you find the brow powder format suitable, then this one is worth checking out. Personally, I find it too time consuming for using it on a daily basis. As I mentioned earlier, I have found my perfect match in terms of brow product and I shall stay loyal to it. If I ever try any new brow products, it will be only for testing the format or may be rave reviews, but I am never going to switch my brow pencil ever!

Very nice. Can you tell me what eyeliner you are wearing on your upper and lower waterlines?
Thanks for your feedback Astha 🙂 I am wearing the Maybelline Master Drama Eye Pencil in Black. Its a fairly new launch at least here in Canada 🙂
