Today, I’ll be reviewing a lotion that was suggested to me by a friend who has combination skin, just like me. I had heard a lot of great reviews along with its fair share of negatives, but I decided to try it out in the hopes of controlling my oily t-zone area. Read to find out how it performed.

My Experience with Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+:
It comes in a standard Clinique packaging with a pump dispenser, which keeps the product secured and helps avoid spillage. It contains 125 ml of product and all the necessary information regarding the product that you would like to know. As far as the fragrance is concerned, it smells lovely.
I usually apply this moisturizer after my Ahava Clear face wash every morning and once after my lunch break. I think it’s an okay moisturizer. I also see that it contains mineral oil, which is supposed to be bad for your skin as it causes breakouts and pimples. But so far, I haven’t broken out or anything. I think this lotion is good for oily skin caused by over drying of skin. After purchasing this, my sister also wanted to try it and it ended up clogging her pores.
After a week’s usage, she eventually discontinued because it caused her to break out, she has relatively oily skin. After discontinuing, she noticed her pimples going away and concluded that this lotion was the official cause of her breakouts. However, I didn’t discontinue its usage. But I don’t feel that it is benefitting my skin in any way. It hasn’t controlled my oily nose much, so I’ll be going back to my Mineral Fusion moisturizer.
Pros of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+:
• The lotion smells lovely.
• The product is great for dry or combination skin.
• It effectively moisturizes skin.
• Keeps skin hydrated throughout the day.
Cons of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+:
• It contains mineral oil, which is bad for your skin.
• It’s a little too expensive for size.
• It might clog pores if you have oily skin.
• The product can cause break oily skin out
Would I Recommend Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+?
No, I think I’m better off using a drugstore lotion than this. I was initially very excited to try it out but it was a disappointment. It’s not that there’s anything majorly wrong (except containing mineral oil), I just didn’t see as many benefits as I was expecting.
Would I Repurchase Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+?
I am definitely not going to be repurchasing this because it’s too expensive for the quality of what I’m receiving. I think there are better options that could easily replace this at a fraction of the price as well.
