I recently realised that I had been totally into lipsticks and was missing out on the amazing glosses available out there in the stores. I was just glancing at Colorbar counter, and then tried a few lip glosses; the moment I tried this, I knew I had to pick this one for sure. It is a perfect shade for Christmas, New Year’s Eve and also for all the weddings coming up. Read to know how this actually worked for me.

My Experience with Colorbar Red Glass Sheer Glass Lipgloss:

There were lots of shades available in this range to choose from, but I instantly fell for bold red shade. The price is really good since Colorbar offers excellent quality as far as lip products are concerned.

Packaging:
The gloss comes in a stunning silver coloured box with all the details written over it. The bottom mentions the shade name and number. The box is of really good quality, unlike some other brands that give just a basic black box which gets scratched up pretty quickly. The lip gloss bottle is long and sleek in transparent packaging with a silver coloured cap which adds glam to the packaging.

The packaging is see-through so we can easily pick up the shade we want if we own a few of these. Very handy and light! The wand is also extremely convenient and soft. The shape very nicely turns according to my lip shape giving it a perfect outline and definition.

Shade:
The shade “Red Glass” is a true bold red shade which appears extremely bright and loud on the lips. This is the kind of shade that celebrities would flaunt. It totally makes me feel like a star. It is a deeply pigmented red shade with warm undertones which make it look even bolder. If blotted a little, it might turn into a lighter version of this shade. Initially, it looks super bright and I was amazed with the pigmentation since it is a sheer gloss.

It loses its intensity after an hour and settles down to a lighter version of the same red, but hey, the red is pretty much noticeable and looks poppy. I love it for the fact that it is so versatile. It will suit any skin-tone, the party animals will love it, it will totally complement ethnic wear for weddings, hence I think it is a perfect red.

Texture:
The texture is thick and super glossy. It feels a little thick when applied initially but with time it settles down and does not feel heavy on the lips at all. It is not sticky at any point, rather it is buttery smooth which glides on the lips and covers my lips in just a swipe. It has an amazing glossy shine that the gloss lovers will instantly fall in love with.

It does have a glass-like shine and sheen which dazzles till the gloss stays. Also, yes my lips do look fuller and perfect; hence this range is a great option for those who have thin lips. It gives a really good hydration to my lips and my lips do not feel dry.

Staying power:
The gloss stays on lips as it is for 4-5 hours with the colour and shine decreasing gradually. It stays for 2-3 hours if you have a full meal or snacks because that is the way any gloss would work. So we can probably use the gloss when we just have to blabber. It transfers a lot to glasses and say anything!

So, overall I would say that these are some amazing glosses that no gloss lover can miss at any cost. A total thumbs up for this one!

• Transfers a lot, and half of the colour would rip off if I sip a little water

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Colorbar Red Glass Sheer Glass Lipgloss?
Yes I definitely recommend this to all the red lovers as this is a perfect blood red shade that we see on models and actresses. Every gloss lover will surely fall in love with this range, so check out other shades too. I won’t particularly repurchase this one, but will check out other shades.

Conclusion:
I never knew these glosses were so damn pigmented and hot! I always thought they might be more on the sheer side, but Red Glass totally proved me wrong.
