Coloressence Golden Tan Mesmerising Lip Color Review

Okay, so as you know, we picked up a lot of lip colours especially in browns for mom. I have reviewed all of them so far and this is the last one. And then, I would be happily switch to my beloved colours that are corals and pinks.

I have to admit that Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color – Golden Tan  is so far the worst lipstick that I have tried in my entire life. I don’t have any enemies and even if I had any, I would not have given this lipstick to them. Keep reading to know why I call it the worst lipstick.

My Experience with Coloressence Golden Tan Mesmerising Lip Color:

My mom and I planned to try out some brown shades as the sale season was going on. We picked browns from various brands to try out which brand or range had the best quality.

Packaging: The lipstick comes in a simple packaging in black and silver. It is nothing fancy but nothing to complaint about either. The twisty thing of the lipstick is also pretty fine at such a low price. It is handy so can be carried along as well.

Shade: The shade – here comes the worst part. The shade is disgusting. The shade is pure brown and the brand has put in as much gold as they could. It is a very metallic brown with too much frostiness. Okay, that’s not it! We have more. They have put big copper glitter particles that we actually use for decorations or crafts. They are not even eligible to be called “shimmers”; those are actually “Big glitters”.

Metallic base, frostiness and big copper glitters were used to make this lipstick. How could they make such a combination? Atleast they could have made something that the people can use. The fellow variants were super drying but this was creamy. It glided on very smoothly and the pigmentation is very good too. It took only one swipe to apply it. But, what’s the use of these when I won’t dare to apply it.

Staying Power: It stays put for around 3 hours with food and water. I tested it at home since I couldn’t go out with this. Then, the lips started becoming a bit dry and stretchy. At the very end, you have only those cheap and awful looking shimmers on your lips.

Overall, I have just one thing to say about this lipstick “Cheap”.

Pros of  Coloressence Golden Tan Mesmerising Lip Color:

– Affordable.
– Rich pigmented shade and creamy consistency.
– Available everywhere.
– The lipstick lasts for 3 hours without fading.
– Good packaging.
– Contains natural ingredients.

Cons of  Coloressence Golden Tan Mesmerising Lip Color:

– Very metallic and frosty base.
– Glitters particles are too big to be called ‘shimmer’.
– Will look cheap on any complexion you pick.
– Unpleasant and intimidating shade.
– After a few hours, there is just cheap glitter left on your lips.
– Makes me look like a clown; at least clowns look cute but I didn’t!

Will I Repurchase/ Recommend  Coloressence Golden Tan Mesmerising Lip Color?

God, no! I can’t repeat that mistake. I am just going to throw this away. It is such a terrible colour. I think they should have tried this before launching it in the market. If Coloressence feels this shade looks good, then I will send them my lipstick.

Conclusion:

I would recommend trying matte shades from this range because they truly look good. But, if you see the slightest or the smallest shimmer particles in it then, beware! you will just lose your money.
