I recently did a big haul from Crabtree and Evelyn. Today’s review is about their Pear and Pink Magnolia body wash. This brand was founded in 1972 by Cyrus Harvey. The name Crabtree and Evelyn was inspired by John Evelyn, a 17th-century botanist, and the English Crabapple tree, known for its beauty and use in home apothecary. So, let’s get started with the review.

My Experience with Crabtree and Evelyn Body Wash Pear and Pink Magnolia:
The packaging is not very modern but still looks attractive. It comes in a boxy plastic container with a screw lid. The opening in the bottle is small and one can easily control the amount discharged. The whole packaging is very sturdy and made of good quality.
The picture on the packaging is also very pleasant and appealing. It all looks lovely. The body wash is light pink in colour and has a shampoo-like consistency. The opening in the packaging is pretty small and hence it’s easy to control the amount of the product discharged.
I need a small amount for my entire body. A little product goes a long way. The gel creates a lot of froth and who does not like froth. 😉 This product will last around 2 months, if used every day. The fragrance is so unbelievably good. The fragrance is a mixture of the sweet smell of pear and freshly cut roses. The fragrance is what makes me love this product so much.
The smell is not overwhelming and so soothing. I feel so relaxed when I smell this product. The body gel is also easy to wash off. The skin does not feel dry or stretchy after the shower. It feels soft and smooth and also moisturised. I can easily skip my body lotion after using this. This product can be used in the shower and also in the bath.
I have used it only in the shower till now and I am sure it works great in the bath also, going by the amount of froth it creates. The best part is that it’s a soap-free formula and hence leads to less drying of the skin, especially for sensitive and dry skin. There is no parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol or sodium lauryl sulphate in the product.

It’s a fancy item and I feel pampered each time I use this body wash. Yeah, it’s expensive, but I feel it’s worth the money. It makes a good gift for everyone.
