Today, I am here with a DIY face pack, which is loaded with tropical fruit enzymes and acids. The usage of fruit enzymes and acids for your skin makes it look youthful and radiant. The fruit enzymes lighten the skin tone effectively, while the fruit acids promote exfoliation to reveal a glowing skin. I have used watermelon, papaya, lemon and oats in this face pack. This face pack is quite easy to make and provides a ton of benefits to the skin. So, let’s read it further.
Ingredients and their benefits:
Watermelon is a rich source of potassium and vitamin A, B and C. Being rich in vitamin C, watermelon kicks the production of collagen in the body. Collagen helps in maintaining the elasticity of the skin and keeps it firm. Aside from this, collagen increases the cell turnover and promotes the growth of healthy skin cells. Lycopene and beta-carotene present in the watermelon treat the sunburns effectively. Also, vitamin A treats and repairs the damaged skin cells. Thus, using watermelon for your skin makes it look younger, radiant, clearer and hydrated.
Papaya is rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals and is also a huge source of antioxidants. The presence of fiber helps in flushing out the toxins from the skin and clears it up. Being a rich source of vitamin C, like watermelon, papaya also kicks up the production of collagen in the body to make your skin look youthful and radiant, while the enzymes present in papaya help in treating the dry and flaky skin and keeps it hydrated and nourished. Not to mention, enzymes present in the papaya effectively lighten the skin tone and make it even-toned. Thus, using papaya for the skin makes it softer, hydrated and nourished while making it appear youthful and radiant.
Oats help in absorbing the excess oil from the skin. It is a natural cleanser and also works as an exfoliator thereby, removing the dead skin cells. It can remove all the dirt and oil from the pores and make the skin appear clearer. The regular usage of oats on the skin reduces the visibility of pores and treats the skin congestion. It also contains polysaccharides, which help in treating the dry and flaky skin. Oats is well-known for skin lightening properties, and thus it evens out the skin tone. Aside from this, oats can eliminate the acne-causing bacteria from the skin and makes it acne free as well. The use of oats for skin helps in improving the collagen production in the body.
Lemon is known for its vitamin C content. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is known for its bleaching nature. It is quite helpful in reducing blemishes, pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, and pigmentation. Thus, lemon evens out your skin tone by treating the skin discolorations.
