Top 5 Facial Moisturizers Under Rs.300

I know what you are thinking. You are thinking that why did I raise the bar by Rs.100, it’s because quality comes at a price darling. And I could not afford to miss out on some of the gems for Rs.100! Okay now this time I present you some of the best pocket friendly moisturizers in the market. I’ve taken care of all the skin types and used different brands without compromising on the quality.

Moisturizers are one of the most important part of your skin care which sadly most oily skinned girls ignore. I too used to belong to that club. But that worsens your problems. So girls don’t avoid moisturizing your skin thinking that you have got enough oil naturally on your face. Read on and take your pick:

Fab India Vitamin E Skin Hydrating Cream

fab india vitamin e skin hydrating cream
It is god sent for oily skin. In terms of quality it can give a tough competition to the likes of The Body Shop, Lush, etc. Priced at Rs.225 for 120ml, it is very affordable. It has got this light whipped cream consistency which is what makes it apt for combination-oily skin. Also it is absorbed within minutes. But don’t go overboard with it, because too much of it can make your skin greasy and shiny. It comes in a tub. But I just checked Fab India’s website and now they have changed its packaging to a tube. Do check this one out.

Aroma Magic Almond moisturizing lotion

Now something for the dry club. Aroma Magic products by Blossom Kochhar are herbal so I trust this brand a lot for my skin care needs. This lotion is quite creamy and keeps your skin hydrated for a long time. Also, it keeps the dry patches at bay. Priced at Rs.215 for 220ml, it would last really long. It conditions your skin and keeps it soft and supple and if you like almonds then you will like how it smells! A real boon it is for dry to normal skin.

Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 15

neutrogena oil free moisturizer
Well what do I say about it. It is a moisturizer with an added advantage of SPF 15. It gets absorbed within minutes and keeps your face matte for a good amount of time. But some people complain of it making their skin greasy, I don’t know why. In fact they have the similar moisturizer for dry skin, sensitive skin, combination-oily skin, etc. So you can take your pick. Also if you wish for more sun protection, then you can go for the one with SPF 35. Priced at Rs.250 for 115ml, it is definitely not expensive. Also it doesn’t contain any parabens…me likey! Also it being non-comedogenic, won’t clog your pores.

Lotus Herbals SheaMoist 24 hour moisturizer

If you love strawberries, then you are going to eat this thing up. Dry skinned beauties look no further. I’m not sure about the 24 hour claim but it will surely keep you moisturized for a long time and you only need a little of this so the tube also would last long. The consistency is somewhere between a cream and a lotion which is what you always wanted. Priced at Rs.110 for 60ml and Rs.180 for 120ml, it is pocket friendly too. If you are not too sure, you can always pick the smaller tube too see if it works for you..

Lotus Herbals Aloe Hydra moisturizing gel

Lotus Herbals Aloe Hydra moisturizing gel
Aloe Vera is one of the best natural moisturizers for your skin. So it scores here. Secondly, it has this gel consistency which is very much apt for combination-oily skin. It is light weight, gets absorbed within minutes and smells pleasantly. What more can you ask for? Oh yes the moisturization! Yes this oil-free moisturizer keeps your skin hydrated without making it oily or shiny. You can use it as your makeup base too. One of the best moisturizers around. Price Rs.180 for 100g
Which one do you love? Any other favourites? Spill it here!

Blossom kocchar’s almond moisturizing lotion is now available for 240/- in a brand new packaging and a better, thicker formula that doesn’t become watery in the heat. My favourite moisturizer for my dry skin along with the fab india vit e lotion.

Prachi November 5, 2014 at 1:07 pm

Hi girls.
Until few months ago,I was just a regular tomboyish girl..a MBA aspirant..(which means you study till you drop dead..and keep aside all your “girl problems” until you get into a shiny B-school! *blah* *yawn*
Anyhow,It was in this strain that my hair started falling out badly..and well,my skin(which was behaving very angel-like uptil then, suddenly started breaking out(with prominent acne zones which leave marks even after drying out ).. And just when I was on the verge of committing suicide (due to all the ridiculous problems),I found IMBB! Literally ,I was fed up of trying new shampoos, face creams and face washes! I was stupid enough not to know the intricate details of being a girl and the responsibility attached with maintaining good skin(I mean really, looking good DOESNOT just happen all by itself, that’s a myth and I know it now!)..
So I have come to you all..and m very very new to this site and this kindof interaction..but I am here to listen to and follow the advice of the “VETERANS” ..a tomboy seeking out help from my girly girl pals(isn’t it lovely to have those girlfriends who can help you out with the real problems of life-aka zits, bad hair days and pimple scars?)
So,please please suggest me the following(preferably budget products under 300 each,as I am a student)-:

Skin type-: I have combination skin (oily T-zone and rest of the face is normal except in winters when it gets a little noticeably dry and stretchy)

Currently using : Lotus herbals tea tree & cinnamon anti-acne oil control face wash,
Lotus herbals Aloehydra aloevera moisturizing gel

P.S-these current products which I am using are also courtesy IMBB..Before this,I was having a plethora of products which I was trying like a maniac..In an effort to understand my skin type..but IMBB came as a lifesaver..these products have done a lot of damage control..but even then..I need to know what are the kind of products (brand names would be welcome) which I can choose from..becoz u know one gets bored of the same products if used for a really long tym period..(specially girls like me-yes I am a Gemini..I always get bored of using the same products twice..) *wink*
