Take appropriate amount of the scrub and massage it on your body in the shower. Leave it on for around 5-10 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. Do not use it on dry skin; always wash the area to be scrubbed with water before using the scrub. Use this scrub twice a week to see best results. Do not use this scrub on your face as sugar particles are coarse and may damage your skin.

Benefits of Each Ingredient:

This body scrub gives results with regular usage. It will make your skin soft and supple. This scrub removes dead cells and brightens your skin. Let me share the benefits of each ingredient used in this body scrub.

Sugar:
Sugar is a very good exfoliator. It exfoliates the skin naturally without leaving harmful residues that can clog the pores. It has moisturizing properties that prevent the skin from drying. Homemade sugar scrubs create a gentle abrasion to even out the skin tone.

Coconut oil:
Coconut oil is used in many natural beauty products, and for a good reason. Naturally antibacterial and antifungal, coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer for your skin.

Avocado oil:
Avocado oil enhances the skin’s ability to generate collagen. It is full of Vitamin E and has the ability to soothe dry and itchy skin.

Cocoa powder:
Cocoa powder has excellent anti-ageing benefits. It adds a glow to your skin and moisturizes it pretty well.

Orange essential oil:
Adds a nice citrus fragrance to the body scrub. This oil has good anti-inflammatory properties. It increases the skin’s ability to absorb Vitamin C. It also boosts collagen production and blood flow, hence it is a good anti-ageing oil.
