Hope you all are doing good! Today is a very gloomy day; didn’t feel like coming to work but somehow managed to drag myself here. So thought of cheering myself up by writing a review for you guys. This is the last product from my eyeshadow obsession. Today I am going to review e.l.f. 5-Piece Duo Eyeshadow Collection. It is called night. Read below to know more about the eyeshadows.

My Experience with e.l.f. 5-Piece Duo Eyeshadow Collection Night #33035:
The collection contains 4 eyeshadow duos and 1 dual ended eyeliner cum brush in black color. The eyeshadows come packaged in 4 plastic pots. The lid is transparent and twistable. The packaging is simple yet looks cute. I like the transparent lid as it makes identification of the colors very easy and it is a travel friendly pack. The best part is that it comes with an eyeliner and a brush duo that works decently. The whole set comes packaged in cardboard packaging, which I have already discarded.
It contains hues of grey, green, blue and mauve. The colors are pretty and all of them come in combination of light and dark hues of the same shade. These are perfect to create various looks. I, however, feel that these are ideal for creating smokey look. The pigmentation of the colors is not very good. Darker colors are slightly more pigmented than the lighter ones. These shades are not matte. They have a metallic finish to them. They appear shiny when applied to the eyes.
The texture is soft but powdery. A lot of color is wasted during application since the brush does not pick up the color properly. There is slight fallout on application. I like my shadows to be a little creamier in texture as they are easier to play with. The eyeliner is well pigmented and is smooth on application. There is no tugging while gliding on the eyes.
The lasting power is 3-4 hours without a primer, after which it starts to fade a little. Using a base or primer would increase the staying power to 5-6 hours. The eyeshadows does not crease or get oily.

Conclusion:
You can give this product a try, if it’s easily available. I won’t say it’s a great collection, but affordable for beginners and college-goers. I would probably not purchase it again, but would like to try different range of shadows available with this brand.
