Hope you are all doing great! ELF Cosmetics has launched some new flavors in their traditional lip exfoliator range and I picked up the “Sweet Cherry” variant from that line. So, let’s get started with the review.

How to use – Gently rub the tube over your lips in small, circular motions. Wipe gently with a cotton pad and follow up with a nourishing lip balm.

My Experience with ELF Lip Exfoliator Sweet Cherry:
With all the madness around matte lipsticks and liquid lipsticks, I noticed that my lips were extremely dried out and needed help. Moisturizing daily is just not sufficient; exfoliation has also become so important. Sometimes, I do my own homemade scrub, but now, I absolutely have no time as my hands are always full with my toddler. So, when I found an alternative, I quickly picked up the ELF Exfoliator in “Sweet Cherry”.
This product comes packaged in a long black box. The front of the box has a little window from where you can see the product. The back side has a brief but clear description and directions to use the product and also has the ingredients list. The product itself comes in a matte black lipstick bullet, with a color-coded band at the bottom depicting the flavor. The part that it is like a lipstick makes it fuss-free and convenient to use. Lip scrubs that are in jar form can be kind of a pain to use. They can be a little messy. But, the ELF Lip Exfoliators are super easy to use and travel-friendly. The sweet lip exfoliator is pale pink in color and has an artificial cherry candy fragrance to it.
The exfoliator itself has a solid feel to it; not soft or melting as you would expect from something made of honey and oils. This formula is infused with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape and Jojoba Oils to moisturize and keep your lips soft. Though the product is hard, it broke off when I applied it with a lot of pressure when scrubbing my lips. Although I put it back in the tube, I still get a bit nervous while using it, and now, this explains the quality of the packaging.
In the original formula, we can actually see the sugar granules in the bullet, but in this, the granules are smaller than the original, so it is less abrasive. This is a good product which exfoliates the lips mildly and removes all the dead skin and makes the lips matte lipstick ready.
Overall, it is a good product which fulfills its claims by providing proper exfoliation by removing flaky and rough skin and helps in providing the necessary moisturization to the lips.

I really enjoy using it especially during winter, but next time, I may try the original flavor. It is a great budget-friendly product. Give it a whirl, friends.
